We return to the Uranium Mine with our new and improved UV black lights to find the Uranium mineral Autunite. Autunite was the main ore mineral being mined for its Uranium content at this mine. Large chunks were extracted once here but now all that is left are small pieces in the tailing piles.
The mineral fluoresces under a UV light which is how we find the mineral. Autunite is also radioactive but its not in high enough levels to be a concern. However, caution is still needed when working and handling it to avoid breathing in the particles, ingesting it, or being in contact with it for extended periods of time.
