Song from the movie Aval Appadiththaan (1978) - a black and white movie starring Rajini, Kamal and Sripriya. Directed by the late C.Rudrayya. I have seen the movie. It dint have a story line as such. In this movie I think Kamal Hassan plays a documentary film maker. Sri Priya in the climax marries someone else as in not Rajini or Kamal. Maybe I should watch it again

Wonderful singing Ms.Madhu. I have never imagined that a singer other than the legend KJ Yesudoss can bring life and soul to this beautiful song with profound lyrics by Thiru. Gangai Amaran and a soothing composition by Maestro Ilayaraja. First time, I am hearing this song by a woman singer. I am not equipped to comment on aesthetics, nuanced of this song. But after hearing your rendition, I got the same emotions, that I get when we hear thd original. More than that, I imagined this song rendered by Ms. Sripriya in the movie, and the same lyrics give a different perspective. ❤🎉 The lines ini ellam sugsme coming from a loved woman offers immense hope and strength. Your rendition is soul stirring madam. You have internalized the song fully and sang with all yiur heart. In these days of chaos and divisivity, such renditions are a must to heal and calm us.
