Since it didn’t apply all that well to begin with, I had low expectations, but the shadows did hold up and look the same 8 hours later when I washed it off.

While it is subtle, I do see the colors and on camera, it looks quite lovely on you Marnie! It really makes your blue eyes pop. The Naked 3 original is probably my most favorite palette EVER! I am also quite fond of Pillow Talk as well. Knowing myself, I will probably grab the mini once it hits Sephora or Ulta. ~Regina~

UD e/s has always been hit or miss for me. I had the original 1 & 2 and I had to give them away. Too much fall out; too cool toned for my skin. I just cringe when colors are vibrant and eye catching in a palette but when you go to apply them, it is an epic fail. Thank you Marnie for your HONEST opinion. And if UD drops you from their PR list, that would be a fail on their part too. Here is hoping they don’t. 🤞🏼

So excitied for this one - the CT is way too warm for me. Everything you don't like about this palette would make it work for me! This and the Sephora Eye Love would be all I'd need for travel.

I had to go back into my Sephora history because I was sure that I had returned an Urban Decay palette for the same reasons. And sure enough, it was the Naked Ultimate Basics. Go figure. High end brand etc.

I love this palette and great pigment payoff! I have had mine about 2-3 months, so maybe they changed the formula? Love that they are long-wearing and no fallout! I thought they looked really nice on your eyes!

Seriously how much more pigmented do you wanted it to be? It’s fine. It’s for a natural eye and look on fair to medium toned skin. And it looks fantastic on you. This type of pigment is user friendly for all skill levels. Your level is expert - they’d expect you to use it wet or to have sprayed your brush.

I have and love the original. I cool off the slightly too orange Charlotte Darling by blending with Naked 3 original. In reverse I find Charlotte’s palettes are nice to slightly warm up the Naked 3. I’m super pale and cool toned. I wear Opal in BareMinerals Complexion Rescue or Mac NW 10-15 winter and summer. But this might be too sheer even for me. For a similar cool toned Rose palette that is more compact and travel friendly I also do the blending trick with bareMinerals Rose palette.

Thanks for the review I’ve been waffleling on buying this for a while now for some reason the try it on option isn’t working on the urban decay site for me. I bought the naked 2 mini and was not very impressed honestly. I can already see from your swatching how it’s going to look on me and I can see it won’t show up without either putting it on wet or layering and layering and I don’t need to the bother. thanks for saving me the money. considering the half baked new pallet. The only shadow I have of theirs is the wild greens palette and I’m pretty happy with that but the naked two mini is just literally that -“naked”

Curious as to where the two pallets were manufactured; China or USA. Maybe that is the quality difference?

Good question! The original palette was made in the USA but assembled in the Dominican Republic. The Naked 3 mini was as well but it also adds that it has "imported ingredients" but doesn't state from where.

I bought both the naked basics and basics2 when they were released, never really used them or liked them, decluttered them by throwing them out last year. I think I'm just not a fan of the UD formula.
