Charlie this is true, I live in an upstairs flat and the house under me is a scatter flat, they put a convicted rapist in the flat. He was arguing and fighting with a young girl. I saw her the next day with a black eye. The police got involved and I gave a statement. I’ve been saying it for years, as I too have been working in city centre supermarkets for over 20 years, the police in any city centre area need to be routinely and visibly armed, dressed like a Millitary swat team, with support from the Millitary, patrolling the aisles of supermarkets with lethal force authorised - it’s got so bad now that we need a national state of emergency and for martial law to be declared - Millitary law/dictatorship in the short term is the only solution to clean up this mess on our streets and the drugs problem on our streets is clearly by design - the army should have been sent out years ago, as most people today have far too many rights and freedoms that they have not earned and are therefore abusing and misusing - the more I see, the more convinced I am that the longer this continues, ultra hardline solutions will have to be introduced and kept in place for far longer
