New subscriber. Found your channel while researching edc flashlight. Just picked up the boss 35 per your recommendation. Do you know what website the instructions/user manual for programming the light and so on is. It's been frustrating trying to find it. Thanks again. Maybe you may want to make a video on it. I bet a lot of people have gone with the boss light after watching a few of your videos.

Hey, yeah, they’re a bit all over the place. I think there’s a couple programming vids on KZbin, and instructions on CPF. The site to program is here: lux-rc.com/content/NXS/NXS_R1_programming?__sx=79&__sy=71 Just copy and paste that link if you need to. From there, you can set up how you want to program the flashlight. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to actually apply it. With your BOSS, you need to put it in programming mode which requires a series of taps. Let’s say “1” entails a tap and release, and “0” entails a pause where your finger is *off* the button. Then to get into programming mode you want to do 11, 0, 11, 0, 111. On the last “1” you actually click down on the switch. Then you’ll be in programming mode which is denoted by the red led glowing dimly (distinct from its normal output). Click “Save and program” >> “program” on your computer/device, and then hold the flashlight (with the light sensor, aka LEDs facing your computer) to the screen. After about twenty seconds or so, or whenever the screen stops flashing, then you can take it off. The red led indicating programming mode on the BOSS should’ve turned off. If it hasn’t, make sure the brightness is up enough on your screen and try again. Hope this helps!
