REASON FOR TITLE CHANGE - I have seen a lot of the comments regarding my choice of title for this tutorial. It is NOT and most definitely WAS not supposed to be clickbait. Had it been clickbait, you would have seen something like ‘ALMOST GOT HIT BY A BUS!” lol. HOWEVER - with that being said, I have read a lot of what’s been talked about here and spoken to a few of you personally who feel STREET PHOTOGRAPHY was not clearly or well depicted in this video for what we photographed, etc. A better suited title for the information in this video is URBAN PHOTOGRAPHY. Where none of my content is ever published with means to offend, take away from, or minimize other people or their work- I most definitely will recognize my own mistakes because after all, I am still learning too, and never hope to stop.

This is such a well done video. To me, street/urban photography is all about PERSPECTIVE. You want to be shooting from totally different angles. Getting the camera low on the ground, zooming in for those bokeh effects, getting reflections in the water and the glass, etc. I personally prefer to shoot at night... ideally with heavy rain and fog. Abandoned railway stations and development areas work great for stuff such as light painting and getting creative with long exposures. Cheers!

I love you Peter, but I do have to point out that this isn’t quite street photography. Street photography is capturing candid moments of people and things in the street. No posing, models, etc... for example, Joel Meyerowitz, Helen Levitt and Gary Winogrand. just wanted to point that out so the great street photographers of the day get the recognition they deserve!

This is a great video, but the title is misleading. Most everyone into photography agrees steet photography involves some sort of photojournalism / documentary style / candid images. What’s shown here is street location hunting for a fashion / lifestyle / product shoot. Again, great video but very misleading title.

Matt Thompson no hate man. Street photography is coined so much these days. The definition is a bit in a gray area, people with images like Peters style will call it street photog cause it is taken in the streets. But others will say it is not cause the definition is about daily life. The definition "street photography" is coined way too much
