It was comforting to me to see a professional not precisely following the lines; pantos always scared me because I was not proficient at following the lines. Thank you ! I may just have to try it again.

Question where is the laser a separate purchase or is the laser apart of a manual long arm machine?
@urbanelementzdesigns3 ай бұрын
Most longarm machines will come with a laser light.

Where was your needle when you started sewing?
@urbanelementzdesigns Жыл бұрын
On my machine, I always start off the quilt edge, (edges are basted down) and the needle is down in the quilt after pulling up the bobbin thread and taking a few stay stitches.

Do you start by quilting the ghost line? I have seen some people do and some people do not. Thanks
@meloniecaldwell2750Ай бұрын
Cindy, Because many of the designs interlock, we sew part of the echo row first. This is what will be on the edge of the quilt. It is shown at the 10:20 minute. Happy Quilting!

We suggest our Tear Away designs for any sewing machines. Just place, quilt and Tear Away. Here is a link to those designs for your convenience: www.urbanelementz.com/quilting-designs/pantographs-e2e.html?category_ue=263

I always place the panto at the bottom edge of my table. But I see you have yous on the middle of the table. Is that way we are suppose to place it?
@urbanelementzdesigns Жыл бұрын
Many manufacturers will suggest that you place it closest to you on the table as it is a straight edge and makes it easy to load. That might work most of the time. But we have learned through countless customer calls that it can create frustrating issues that could be avoided. When the quilt is very large, or there is double batting, or you are using flannel or minky the take up lever gets very big. So big that the head of the machine can no longer reach all of the design when it is at the bottom of the table. We prefer to find the center of our quilting space in the front, find the center of the table in the back and link the two together with the laser light. If you have a panto graph gridz it makes it a breeze to load a quilt and keep it straight, clean, and make any modifications you might need.

Thank you. I am going to give it a try next time I do a panto. I always have a hard time where to actually start the panto. may be it will go better if I line it up on the center of the table. @@urbanelementzdesigns
