Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for this information. I have been quilting pantos at home on my long arm for over two years and have always placed the panto along the bottom. And as you would know at times I have run into trouble. This is such great information about placing tape to measure your available distance and centring the panto. Thank you again for sharing this information. 💕

Wow! I’ve never seen someone talk about the partial first row. This is what my quilting has been missing! Thank you for explaining this, Leah, my quilting friend! 🥰

Thank you for the videos they really help. I see you have a red snapper attached to some material for the side clamps. Can you show us how you made them and use them. I have red snappers on my frame as well, but the side clamps they recommend I don't think I would like as you have to squeeze the material in between the clamp. Thanks again for all your videos.

This was so informative. It really helped to see that last 2 camera shot. Also, I started basting along the bottom as I quilt after seeing your last tutorial. Really helps me to keep things lined up. Using the back bar instead of channel locks has helped as well. I just don't find my channel locks work well.

You can adjust channel locks to lock better if that makes sense. The rubber stopper unscrews slightly and is locked in place with two nuts. You may need to use pliers to loosen the nuts, unscrew the stopper, then adjust until it really locks against the machine tracks. I hope that helps!

So, a dealer in quilt frames said I didn't need leader cloths...but I can see how wrong he was! Thanks Ms. Leah!

He may not be wrong... that's just his opinion. I personally like using leader cloth, but everyone is different!

@@LeahDay I truly think leader cloths will make it easier for me...and I never heard of a short first row, and I don't think I could do that without a leader on my Hoop Frame. I am relatively new to frame/machine quilting. I did mostly hand quilting previously. So, again, thank you for your instructions.

Did you remove the tensioner belts for your automation or just loosen them?
@LeahDay2 жыл бұрын
No. I never loosen my belts or remove them. My QCT belts remain at the same tension all the time - regardless of whether I'm using QCT or free motion quilting.
