Losing someone close to you teaches you to be humble about life. The problems of before look so insignificant and ridiculous compared to the pain of living in this world knowing that you will no longer see that person again. It teaches you that time and space are indeed relative, it makes you more compassionate towards others. Money and power can no longer control you. And although life goes on, you will never be the same person again. You are irrevocably and permanently changed. You can move on, but you will never forget. You will never forget how you felt when reality hit you. You will never forget how is like to kiss the face of a dead person knowing that before it was a smiling and warm face. Losing someone to mental illness and depression makes you question about life, about the mind and about how someone that seems so happy can lose it all. It makes you wonder about human vulnerability and our own impotence. "Farewell Life" is a good melody to go back to those memories and lonely thoughts... I specially like to listen to it at night, looking to the sky from a window. In those raw, intimate moments, I think about him and all the things we did together.

Amazing... and mindblowing in the same time... I always feel that sadness feels more intense than happiness and I wonder why... my son so much wished to be able to create a family... but despite all his efforts and struggles with his loved one, she still followed her reckless life path without him, due to substance abuses and her BPD problems she chose that path and this ruined my son... he is passing through a major depression right now, he that wanted to save her and cure her. She is a doctor and despite all her knowledge she combined her psychiatric treatment with alcohol, she left him... and I might loose him to suicide any day now. He is lost even months after the break-up, while she is partying all the time.

Listening to this make me think if I took my life earlier, I would've missed so many things in my life. I would miss getting my first girlfriend, seeing myself graduate high school and college, going sky diving with my best friends, taking my first shots, and I just can't miss those moments. So I gotta stay a little while longer. Gotta do them before I go.

Life is beautiful, even through the ugly times. I think we tend to forget the amount of beauty life has to offer. Although life is hard, we only have a short time here as it is. Make the most of it, and help others along the way. Do things that you love, and that excite you, have fun and enjoy the small things. Music in general is a great way to enjoy the small things! And if you ever need help, don't fear reaching out. People love you and care about you! I do too. If you ever need to talk, or just vent I'm always here for you. Good luck! :)

@@Urbanized very true, great reply.. and great song. I been battling suicide since 2018 and.. well I fell so much better here recently, I’m enjoying life.. I used to stay up crying thinking of ways to kill myself. I would try to settle on one way over another.. along with deeper things I wish not to share.. but we can grow and our mindsets and mentalities can grow.. I’m much more thankful.. and put less pressure on myself. There are things we may have to alter in our life, but ultimately enjoy life and focus on yourself until your strong enough to help others.

@entity awm that’s kind of an ignorant statement.. of course no one “wants” to die. We just convince ourselves we do based off of life events/circumstances.. being suicidal means you romaticize the thought of dying, maybe because how it will make others feel or you’re succumbing to your pain/suffering. Saying that “...you would have done it already” is just not something to say to people struggling with it.. because that insinuates their problems aren’t bad enough to make them actually kill themself.. just very ignorant. You may not mean it that way, just letting you know.

Losing my wife was and still is the hardest thing I have to live with. She died in September of last year. As someone said in the comments: the saddest part of life is when the person who gave you the best memories become a memory. I don't want to accept that she is gone. But every day I go on and she isn't here and knowing why, and having to live with the memories of seeing her that way at the end... As she once said: we will be star dust together one day And God, I hope she is right...

I wrote a poem, and I'd like to share it with you all. "I am this, and this is me the sunset Palettes of orange and red Pink and purple I am the night sky Blue and gray Purple and black Compass to my soul I will do, what I will do It is my choice, and my choice is me Love as I love, Indulge as I such Dream as I will The eye, the sound, the sense Good vibrations, high sensations Understanding, that I don't And never will Until I'm dust But in the between And until that moment I will dream And be what I want For I am this And this Is me I am" I wrote this as a reminder to myself. I'm real, I'm hear, and I'm aware. I'm not going to let this opportunity of life pass by me. I'm going to choose to be grateful and thankful for the little things, like for example, this song and the art in the video. It's not always the biggest moments in life that matter the most. Sometimes it's the small ones that end of meaning the most to you. Thanks for reading, and I hope you all can appreciate my poem, as well as life in general. Best of luck to everyone

I wrote another as well, if you all would like to hear it. "The snow It's still here I thought it'd be gone by now It never stays for long Fleeting Only I wish it'd linger like it has, Today Always And forever I want it's white to kiss me Touch my soul, and graze my spirit A certain thought It brings to mind I remember her I can't help but wonder If she remembers me She'll never know But she touched my life like snow" I have a certain love for snow. It's so peaceful, and it mutes your footsteps. Even in such a loud and raging world, it quiets things. It makes me think about someone I used to know. She brought me so much peace in a mind that was loud and raging. Even in such a messy head, she brought order. I'll never forget her for that.

Losing my parents was definitely the biggest pain I could ever experience, I lost them when I was 10 years old, I had no contact with family and I was in a new city, without friends or acquaintances. Years passed and others came, but I still continued waiting for the moment when my mother would return, even though I know she will never return; It's been 8 years, but I haven't been able to get out of it, this pain remains fresh, the longing hits hard, my chest tightens and tears fall like waterfalls. Birthdays and anniversaries have lost their shine, everything has become opaque and sad, the hope of seeing them coming back is always dashed when reality hits me. This is how my days have been, locked in a room thinking and wishing I had more time. love more, laugh more, give more hugs and create memories, because tomorrow is a big doubt.

I can’t listen to this song without crying, there were times where I’d want to forget the people who have left this world or who disappeared from my life. And it’s a tragedy when you come to realize the incontrovertible truth: Someday… when you are 14, 20, 32 or 65 you will meet someone who will light a fire in you that cannot die; but the most heartbreaking and sad truth you will ever come to find, is they are not always with whom we spend our lives. And unfortunately all we have to remember the ones who have passed are pictures, videos and memories. Of better times when we all were more carefree.

She doesn’t know just how much she means to me. Just how happy her smile makes me. Her laugh sounding better than any music I’ve ever heard. How much it hurts to see her cry. But I can’t tell her that, cause we’re on our separate ways now. And that’s ok. We all have that someone. Some of us are lucky to find them early, for others it’s multiple people, and some it’s the one that got away. Although it might not work out the first time, we have to keep trying. We will get better. We will be better. As people. As friends. As family. It may hurt now, and tomorrow, and the next day. But it does get better. I hope this helped someone, because writing this helped me.

"Life and death are the two sides of an eternal coin. In our journey, we learn that pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. Life constantly challenges us, and in those challenges, we find our power and resilience. Learning to embrace pain, to live with it as a teacher, allows us to move forward with gratitude for every breath we take. In every painful experience, we find the seed of wisdom and strength to carry on. Life teaches us that, while death is inevitable, our footprint on the world can endure through the lives we touch and the lessons we share. Ultimately, life is a precious gift, and our task is to live it with courage and compassion, learning to transform pain into growth and loss into love."

The image reminds me of 2 people who fall in love, a man and a woman, two protagonists in a fantasy story. Their love is forbidden, but they fight and go against the rules and be with each other anyway. In the end the world wins as with the rising of the sun, the woman dies and her body fades away into the wind, and as she dies, her and her lover share one final kiss before she disappears forever and the curtains close, with the man left on his own, tears pouring down his face and the sun rises.

You know, listening to this song reminded me of a dream I had in which I was with the girl who was my first love, a dream where I could live from what would have happened if we had known each other more, that maybe we were another reality. more than friends, where I even received my first kiss, a kiss that fades with the girl, returning to reality. A story that took place in my dream, being on the one hand happy but on the other hand it breaks your soul knowing that it did not happen. As a gentleman it hurts to see a lady leave, not because she has already passed away but because both are on separate paths.

A young man goes through life with dirty close and baggy eyes. He ignores everyone around him. Not that he’d notice because there is only one person in the world he cares about. He never wanted much in life. This was when he still had the spring in his step. He just wanted to get a job, live a fair life, and start a family, but along came this beautiful woman. He had never seen someone with such beauty and in time he’d find out that no one else existed to be as pure as she was. They meet over a clumsy spilt cup of coffee. They talk, exchange numbers, and leave. They spend time together. Then people keep getting in his way. Separating him from her. They do it day after day, night after night. They always tell them to remember that one spot. That one spot such a terrible reality. Weeks go by, months, a year. One day you can’t find any shirt ever gets stained by a cup of coffee, he can’t see her face, he can’t see her purity. He ran across the city trying to find her or anyone that can help. But each time he tries to ask someone they always look at him with sorrow and empathy as if he’s lost broken. An even better reason to find her. He runs up the road, across the street, and pushes people out of his way. Till he gets to that one spot. The old elevating parking lot. It’s been there for ages and holds… a memory. Maybe she’s there. He sees her! Her feet dangling off the concrete railing, her hair blowing in the breeze, her eyes sparkling in the sunset. But the people are there again trying to stop him from getting to her. They call his name and he just shoved them out of the way. They grab his dirty sweater, he’s dirty boots, and it’s dirty pant legs. They won’t stop him. He runs up the stairs bursting through the door covered with wooden planks and yellow tape. And there she is, smiling... or is she smirking? She pats the spot beside her, “I’m so glad I made it this time.” He says to her. He doesn’t look at her... he afraid he’ll cry. “But you didn’t...” she replies. “But I’m here… You’re here.“ “ Not really… you know exactly where I really am, or where I should be rather.” “ yeah but… You’re here now…“ He finally looks at her. The blue wisp of her soul blowing away like a breeze. He does start to cry. He buries his face in her lap just like he always... does.... used too. She runs her fingers through his hair just like she always di.... does. His whimpering starts to subside. “What am I supposed to do?” He asked wiping the snot from his face. “Live!” He heads a voice answer. Was it hers... or was it someone else? Maybe his mom? “Live the life better than what could have been. Be the hero to someone’s story just like you were to mine.” She continues. Maybe it was her? “But I haven’t said ‘goodbye’” he responds. “That’s why I’m here.” He hears shows scraping the parking lot pavement. “But... I don’t know if I’m ready. You were my meaning you were my LIFE.” He confesses. “ you’ve been ready for a while. You just didn’t want to be.” She proclaims. “Will I see you again?” “Of course. There’s not a lot of people like you where I am. But I’m not looking forward to it anytime soon if you catch my drift.” He smiles and laughs a bit before going back to a gentle sob. He leans into her touch one last time. Just kiss her. To feel that warmth. And he whispers to her, “Farewell life.” Upon opening his eyes. He sees at the bottom of the building are his friends and family. Behind him are the officers that chased him up. He slowly rotates away from what is now nothing. And approaches them. They escort him downstairs to be crowded by loved ones. “Farewell life” he says again as he gazed at the now dark blue sparkling sky. A young man went through life with dirty clothes and baggy eyes. He ignored everyone around him. Not that he’d notice because he was stuck in the past. He never wanted much in life. He now has that spring in his step. He just wants to get a job, live a fair life, and start a family. There was this beautiful woman. He had never seen someone with such beauty and in time he’d find out that no one else existed to be as pure as she was. They met over a clumsy spilt cup of coffee. They spoke, exchanged numbers, and left. They spent time together. Enough to be in love after just one year before it all went away. But he has all these people who will be there for him. And support him through it all.

Tossing and turning in the bed at 3 am, When life feels like a cage. Someone gets up, looks out the window, Steps out to the balcony, breathes out into the cold To watch the city lights flicker. While reliving moments of yesterday that blends in with the present, Like an unwelcomed rain with eyes wide open; The continuity of fear, that erodes & eats away at the heart. Subduing every attempt at rescue to ever start. To believe in hope, to believe in kind. There are voices that whisper...whisper: 'Afraid of losing, afraid of loving, afraid of being alone, afraid of my mind' Piecing yourself back together each time. Slowly but, gradually unravelling from the abyss.. The dawn burns away the tears but, never forgets to *reminisce*

A short novel written by me while I was listening to this emotionally moving music. please read this slowly as the words follow the flow of the music. He sat by the window. The window which he had seen countless people pass by. Thousands of people would pass and he knew nothing about them. What a strange thought to think about. What would each of those people do once they passed his window? would they live simple lives and do simple tasks throughout their day? or would they perhaps go on grandeous adventures. To think that people who seemed so insignificant through his window could have unimaginable lives. What he felt in that moment was a feeling of ease. A feeling he had longed for, for years as he grew. To know that he was not alone in this great world. When he looked at his window, he saw buildings and people walking by. But now, he saw marvelous characters developing as they encountered curious situations. The young girl who was lost and how she heroically looked for her parents without crying. The young man who offered a girl his umbrella as he braved the pouring rain with nothing but his shirt and soaked jeans. He longed to be one of them. To be someone who mattered. And so he drew pictures of them, hoping he could even come close to capturing their beauty and essence on a still drawing. As time grew he plastered their drawings on street lamps and telephone poles. Slowly, everyone began to notice these beautiful works of art attached to the lights and poles. questions of, "who drew this" and "Isn't that amazing?" began to flood the streets. The famed artist now known as A for anonymous. People began to question where this artist was. Where they walking among them in the streets? or were they perhaps hiding and using the cameras to watch them? None knew of the artist nor where to find him. As the days grew long and nights stretched on, 'felt his life grow weak. He knew his life of drawing would be cut short. Although the people did not know his name, they knew him for what he did. His art, his masterpieces, his life. With his final breath he felt ease and comfort knowing that he was finally important. Knowing that he finally mattered to someone... EDIT: This should end at 3:15 which causes the fade of the story to match the fade of the music.

I have been reading these comments of such beautiful and strong people, that I thought I might speak as a friend you have yet to meet. I have never shared this, but I feel this is for you, no matter who you are, who you were, or what you have been through. ❤ The Tears We Cry A single tear, A rhythm of a thousand words, A melody unheard, But as loud as thunder, Deep as an ocean, And as soft as a running brook leading to a river. Some say that tears are pain, The reflection of the words we cannot say, So they are sung unheard, Quiet like the silence the night brings, Heartfelt in the ink of pain this world brings, Glistening only for the stars between shadows. However, I know a hidden truth, Would you like to hear it too? The tears we cry in love and hurt, The tears that fall missing rain, The tears that flow reveal the hurt in that tidal wave of pain, The tears we cry which bring us healing, The ones that bring out our best in our worst times, The times we fly when we feel we could die, The times that hurt, we lay; laden in defeat, Until the ties burn with ends we cannot meet, Alone at last together with intertwined minds, Spun like silk along the path Where we pass each other on that street, smile, wave, or else admit defeat. White flag-waving, Trails a blazing, Streaming down those tears stained faces, Longing for the day the pain is taken away, For the moment we rejoice, the time though near, We cannot fear. Stand tall and strong my darling, For come the next morning, There will be light where there once was night, The guilt and pain will say adieu, What once was lost will be renewed, And like a thunderclap in silence, Hearts will change and tears in silence, Will be heard once more, just one last time, As we say goodbye to losses, There in the spring, In daylights ring, The hope in silence, Loud like violence, The catastrophic kind of kindness, We change the world, With no reverse, It's time we lifted up this curse, To see tomorrow, and fight today, This battle will last another day, But in the end; we pave the way, Today's the day, To fight one more day, To make a way, And sing the song, Making way until the dawn, We live in darkness, This much is true, We live today, It's nothing new, But light like love will change our hearts, And in tears of silence, those gentle drops like dew, Will rain down pain and we will be renewed, In the silence, The voice is louder, Hear it cry its voice gets louder, But in the dark, The sound is drowned, Silent pains till death is drowned, but hear the sound! So sweet in tune, The silent praises with the light of the moon, The echos of prayer in the voice of change, An ambassador of hope is in our range, The tears may fall, And we will change, For better or worse, Though the sound is silent, The tears are loud and iridescent, So let them fall, They will set you free, And break the bonds that fear made in me, And in the morning, Soon you'll see, In the end, you belong to me. Forever the battle in this beastly world, A battle for love, it's soon to come, With the grace just like a turtle dove, Eternal love is at the gate, So sleep tonight, And rest in peace, Tomorrow there comes the place of peace. She stole his gaze, under starry night, where the sun and moon meet. He could only stare. Her beauty, her graceful movements, her very essence captured him. All he could do was behold her. Not the sun, nor any cosmic body could shine as brilliantly as her. Even now, with only a simple stone slab left behind to stare back at him from the ground, the light of her memories illuminated his heart. In an instant of aching sorrow, he remembered. He remembered times of joy, of pain. He remembered her smell, her sound, her smile resonating from the depths of his thoughts. He remembered the walks on the beach, the warm embrace during frigid nights. From beginning to end, he remembered. Her last words to him: "This is not fairwell forever my love...my life...only one moment in an ocean of moments. We will see each other again. 'TIl then, live on...live well. For all of time and beyond, I love you." He lifted his eyes to the glittering lights of the firmament. "I will live on," he thought to himself. "For her, I will live on...live well, and just like her, when my time has come to see her again, I will die happy." Live on, dear reader, live well. When it is your time, pass on with happiness and leave behind your legacy in the memories of your loved ones, so that they may carry on that joy to the end of time and beyond.

As the day turned to dark As the night sat upon the evening winds It was as though it was all a dream Nothing but a faint ember in the smouldering remains of what was. It was as though all that was, and all that is, and all the hopes we had, they were all pieces in which there was no one left to put together. The stars fell, the earth shattered, the heavens roared. Everything and nothing all at once, in this moment. A memory, from a life you’ve never lived. To awake into the form of purity, as though all that came before was merely a cheap imitation. As though you were experiencing life as it was truly meant to be. As though all the former was merely a shadow on the wall. You were home.

Because GOD is there every second of the day....when you at work ready to quit, and you go home weeping about bills hes right there planning your way out....when you feel like your life is over and you feel like its the end always remember thats him starting your new beginning. Wow, this version is even more emotional and mystical than the normal one. I love this sound and the image chosen is just so perfect to describe how you feel listening to this. Thank you so much for it ❤😢

Slow, emotional songs really help me do architecture work, the emotions spilled from the instruments are flown into the designs I create. I Thank you for this.....

Honestly its perfectly slowed and atmospheric to fit in a game or a movie as a ambient track.

Its not life that is unfair, it is us. We are what makes this world so terrible, but if not for us, what reason would the world have to become something better? No matter what we do, or what we've done, we can make a difference! No matter how small, there is always something we can change, someone who needs our help, someone we can love. If you're reading this, know this now. There is no act of kindness so small that it will not be seen. You can make a difference in this broken world, and there is no reason to wait any longer.

“To those human beings who are of any concern to me I wish suffering, desolation, sickness, ill-treatment, indignities-I wish that they should not remain unfamiliar with profound self-contempt, the torture of self-mistrust, the wretchedness of the vanquished: I have no pity for them, because I wish them the only thing that can prove today whether one is worth anything or not-that one endures.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche, The Will to Power
