I'm happy enough with my Wheeliams carrier. No rust and no loose bolts 👍 The mule carrier is indeed a smart looking bit of kit and seemingly well made. Maybe if I was starting a new conversion with a huge budget to absorb the €1300+ price tag for the mule carrier then maybe I'd order one. In defence of the Wheeliams carrier, I have found it to be well made, yes it was not painted or powder coated and it was easy to install with a second pair of hands. For circa €230 it is excellent value for money. My personal opinion of course.

To be fair to Wheeliams, they supply an unpainted steel product and you painted it yourself. I think you said in your other video it took you 2 minutes to paint. Ultimately steel will always rust eventually no matter how good the paint job is but if you had it professionally powder coated you might have had more longevity from it. By the way I think the mule vans carrier is a superior product but I thought it was only fair to balance out that the wheeliams is a third of the price and wasn’t fitted “professionally”

I Love the Mule products but before I lay our that sort of money id like to know that they are Insurance approved & yet their is nothing about this anywhere on their site.. So could anyone clear this question up for me. are they insurance approved ? as its a lot of money wasted if they not.. If anything goes wrong god forbid you loose everything.
