Damn, they must've been hard men to first build that place on the side of a mountain and work in it. The fact that they also worked there while part of it was burning is mind boggling. Great vid as always mate. Stay safe

The green cans at 4:02 ,I believe that they are oxygen candles. Catalyst burned metal or chemical that produces oxygen as a product. Neat to see here. Good video, thx.

The small metal parts with spikes on them are clips for splicing and fixing tears on conveyor belts.

This video reminds me of the hard work of coal miners! I am glad you didn't risk going in the shaft. My father, my grandfather and great grandfather all risked there lives everyday in coal mines, because that was the only way to make a good living. No one should have work like that to make others rich!

Nice video! Good thing you didn't go into the mine shaft, coal mines are notorious for having dangerous gases that will put you to "sleep" before you even know it! If you do go in a mine bring an oxygen moniter! Cheers

Many years dismantled, in 2015 or so we found just pile of metal from the original yellow tower being scrapped. But the cap with screws that closes the borehole is probably still there.

I love Norway! What do you do for a living, is it offshore? That mine sure is bigger than it looks, the museum idea would be a good thought, as so much is in relative good shape for 50 years abandonement. Maybe the permafrost also helps preserving stuff. Great location!

The polar bears do ! I also didn't believe it untill I heard the stories. There was a polar bear walking around in the city of Pyramiden when we were there (Even under our hotel) So I couldn't sneak out at night to explore offlimit buildings haha

If you had gone into the tunnels alone, I would have come to disrespect you. You made the only correct decision as I expected. Being caught down a shaft without signal = missing persons report and a dead tuber with great content who made a terrible mistake.

Cool explore. At 3:57 there is a cardboard box with a red label and a barcode, that looks pretty new maybe 90s? Perhaps it was just staged for photos by previous visitors but interesting.

Have you visited Pyramiden and Barentsburg as well? Especially Pyramiden has a lot of interesting abandoned buildings.

How do you get around any legal issues to do with exploring these places? Obviously you show your face on camera so people know you're there. Do you delay the upload, wait until you're out of a country or something else? You do some great videos. I always look forward to new uploads from you.

Heel verstandig was het niet, het gebouw staat op instorten op sommige delen en er lopen serieus ijsberen rond in dat gebied. En een telefoon die leeg was maakte het er niet beter op ( van de kou)
