Hey guys and gals this old place has been abandoned for over 20 years and seems to have been just left to rot and decay. Looks like a family just up and left one day never to return. This is a place I have been aware of for over 20 years also and did actually check this place about 2 and half years ago only to find it all locked up. Some time since then it has been opened so I stopped off to take a look as I have definitely wondered about this old house for a long time and the secrets and stories it may hold. There is a huge shed out back which was locked and does seem that maybe a farmer still comes and goes from that shed. Anyway I hope you enjoy this urbex explore. Thanks for watching :-)

What blows my mind is all this stuff, stuff that these people possibly had to save a long time for, had to work extra hours for, for what? It to be abandoned, forgotten about. It makes me think.. what does money really mean for us. Lol.

In this world we are nothing but a shadow. We arrived there naked, we accumulated in the course of life and over time, we pile up more than we need. We have reached the end of our existence and we are surprised by death !!!. We left everything and forgot that we are spiritual beings traveling through infinite existences ... Fabulous video like all those already posted.

This house appears to be from between the late 1940s-1950s, judging by the ceiling roses and door knobs, but externally was cheaply constructed and simple for the time. The bathroom and toilet are original. However, looks like alterations around the 1970s were in the kitchen and dining room. Often older houses like captured in this footage were rented out by farmers to their employees such as shearers for instance, depending on the location. Or the farmers use the old houses on their land for storage. But it does give the vibe that people just suddenly up and left. It's a pity that so many items and even photographs that hold captured memories are left to ruin. Thanks again Urbex Indigo for another country explore.

It looks like they started to pack things up and maybe got overwhelmed and walked away. Every time you say you're walking through cobwebs I get the heebie jeebies. I'm phobic about the webs, don't mind the spiders nearly as much as the webs they leave behind. I wonder if the farmer has been chucking stuff in the house for storage. I couldn't think of any other reason for all those chairs.

That which you thought made of a fabric or carpet is a tapestry., a very popular activity in the 1980's. If the house was built close to the end of WW11, it wasn't uncommon for materials to be scarce so, many house builders would wait for a man to come around selling fibro off the back of a truck Timber was so scarce for fixouts that one man I met had a Silky Oak tree in his backyard to be felled, seasoned & milled into the door jambs, architraves & skirtings so he could finish the house. It looks good but, is a very hard timber. Prams like the one in the house yielded great wheels for billycarts. The bed frame is known as a 5 bow wire, due to the 5 extra supports under the springs, they were an upgrade on plain bed wires & were more supporting than bed wires without the extra springing.

@@urbexindigo5164 The carpet picture is embroidery…was very popular in the 80’s, remember my grandmother had done dozens of them. You can tell that’s been done by a male due to its scene, as females tended to favour flowers, still life and shitz. They were very time consuming, however required next to no skill (pattern printed on mesh canvass behind, all materials included in kit…most likely brought from one of those reader’s digest catalogues).

Thank you for another interesting video. That "carpeted" picture would most probably be an embroidered picture. A few of my female rellies have worked on these things - they take hours of painstaking effort. My childhood home built about 1950 had those central decorative features in the ceilings. The house reminds me of houses that were quite common in NSW in the immediate post World War II period

The "reusable" and "recyclable" things that people just leave behind to rot because they are too lazy to take care and clean up things themselves is sad. Not sure if they have this service in Australia?.. but in the US we have companies that will come in a clear out anything you don't want so items can be reused and recycled and not go to waste and left to contaminate the environment.

Cool video, of some interesting stuff and some that is just junk, quite a shame when people let a place get run down and leave it in a state of disrepair and junk pile... the house itself has quite a lot of cool features though, Nice....... Cheers MM

to me looks like two small bedrooms in front with that larger room being living and dineing room together and then a kitchen with toilet in back.

That place has been un occupied for quite a while by the looks of it. That picture that you said looked like rug I think it might have been a "latch hook rug" type .

I watch some of the overseas ones where the homes are really old. Home here just don't cut it. They're not old enough.

I would have liked to have seen it when it was newly built, it looks like a cute house. I love antiques, stained glass, hardware & the archways in the homes you film. If I could have built my own home it woul be very unique because I like old things & are probably out of fashion. Hey Paul, do you have a postal address where you can receive gifts from your followers? 🙋‍♀️💜🇺🇸

lots of abandoned buildings happening in suburb and rural areas these days as all the jobs move to the cities, there's no work out in country areas anymore. People can't even afford to sell an inherited family home because no one wants it. I hate living in the city myself.

A couple of really nice ceiling roses there. A family have called it home once upon a time. Wonder why the neighbour hasn't tried to get something done about it, after it being empty for so long.
