I like that you always wear that mask. I just ordered one. A few years ago I decided to do some welding in my Datsun while it was on the rotisserie, and I had previously coated with POR15 anti rust paint the underneath part of it. Well, after 12 hours of welding the floors, I was breathing all that smoke. 3 hours after that, when I was going to bed, I realized that I couldn’t breathe. I am in my 20s and I am super healthy/fit. I nearly died that night. I got a severe case of welders fever mixed with chemical intoxication that made my skin get giant blisters all over my body, plus I was coughing blood for days. The skin inside of my nose started to fall off, just like when you burn your skin with hot water. It was a nightmare. I tell everyone, invest in a good mask! Lesson learned. I love your videos by the way! I am currently working on a 1971’ Honda Z600 AWD K24 with tubular frame.

I believe that a combination of both styles would work well. At the end of the day, as long as it's great content, which it is, what every you feel like doing on the day is great.

Definitely voice over, voice is not monotone, merely factual.

I like the ones where you talk while you work. We get more of that dry humour. Voice overs are fine but you should save those for when you got a lot of work and precious lil shop time. Besides if you do both it mixes it up a bit and keeps it fresh. But like most people, either way is fine with me. I'm just happy you're posting regularly. I like your content. 👍

Matt you’re a good clear speaker, you don’t mumble or hesitate (like some others that insist on speaking live often do) which is rather frustrating). Personally I quite like a little bit of both…by the way I’m also loving this track mini build, nice job 👍

Sir Matt. To me voice while doing fab work is a difficult task to do but that’s way more knowledgeable to me nor to everyone, they can understand the work step by step. 💯🙏👊🏽😎. Whatever you might feel like doing is good to me,. Appreciated all of your work really awesome! 🍻

You do whichever style of video you want Matt - there’s nothing wrong with your “monotone voice” or how you look!! It’s the content that’s interesting and indeed how you go about it, fabricating skills, Manufacturing, Engineering, mechanics, welding, plasma cutting, lathe work, hammer work. Etc etc. I enjoy everything, it’s amazing.

Matt, I think I'd go ahead and weld a small lip across the boot floor to hold the CF panel. That open edge seems like it's going to catch a lot of road crap and be really hard to seal up. Maybe not a big problem for a track day car unless you ever run in wet weather.
