The anchor needs to get its fact straight. Chandrayaan-1 was designed to orbit the moon, no lander was there. It shocked the world when it discovered the probability of existence of water. A resounding success. But if you expect a fish to climb a tree then it’s your problem Chandrayaan-2 had an orbiter and lander. The lander had a hard-landing on moon and lost contact with control center. However the orbiter is still orbiting the moon much beyond its life time. So yes, this mission can’t be called 100% success. And now we have Chandrayaan-3 busy finding water and helium-3.

Thank you Dr. Rahman for bringing out the real truth. It is sad and unfortunate that even the educated people like Danish Husein saab either don’t know or don’t speak the full truth. Who in the earth told you that chandryan 1 mission was fail? Do you even know that it was chandrayan 1 mission that discovered the possibility of water on moon for the first time in history? Last but not least, from where did you find that chandryan 2 was complete failure ? The orbiter of Chandryan 2 mission 2 is still successfully working and sending data back to earth. I don’t know why our media people in general continue to give wrong information deliberately or unknowingly.
