@@matthewattridge8952 And even the Yankees never had a team stacked quite like this. Fans just complained because Yankees hold the most World Series titles than any other team--27 total. And after their 3 title wins from 98-00 I think fans outside of that fanbase quickly grew tired of the pinstripes. Just my take at least.

With the deepest pockets, the best managment from the top on down and by far the most talented core.. It's very hard to believe that there's not a decade long stretch of them winning the World Series, barring injury. I'm a Jays fan but I have a hard time seeing the franchise continuing to remain north of the border as our managment has run the team into the ground, possibly on purpose? Shapiro was brought in to revamp the Rogers center into an event venue rather then a ballpark, so it makes one wonder if Rogers plan all along was to run the Jays out of TO.

When The Yankees were a dynasty MLB, NY fans and major league management WAS SO PROUD, Mr. October. A HOF team. The big red machine. Are you kidding? And their greatest joy was to beat up on the Dodgers along the way. Neither the league nor the managements complained. Now that Dodgers are "groovy" and winning a little something, folks can't stand to see LA get down like this.
