Hi from UK. Love this channel. Over here we call the 'Big Dipper' part of Ursa Major 'The Plough' (plow). It is also sometimes known as 'The Wain' as in A Wagon. Plough, as in the farmers instrument pulled by horses to break ground, and Wain as in a cart.

Ironically, The Big Dipper and Little Dipper are much easier to identify in areas just outside of cities because you see far fewer stars. These really stand out without all the tiny stars around them.
