US Army Special Forces (Green Beret) Training: DOWN PILOT SCENARIO

Special Forces candidates train for the US Army Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) at Camp Mackall, NC (SF training location), 1 hour west of Fort Bragg.
The candidates were both enlisted and officers ranging from E4 (Specialist) to 03 (Captain). They were assigned to B-2-19th SFG(A) of the Ohio Army National Guard. They remained on the training team until ready to attend SFAS. The requirements to attend SFAS (at the time of the video) was:
70 Pushups in 2 min. Goal was 80
70 Situps in 2 min. Goal was 80
14:00 or less on 2 mile run. Goal was under 12:00
40:00 or less on 5 mile run
6 pull-ups. Gaol was 15
3 ten-meter rope climbs
1hr for 5 mile ruck march with 55 lb ruck
1hr 45 min for 8 mile ruck march with 55 lb ruck
2hr 30min for 12 mile ruck march with 55 lb ruck
4hr for 16 mile ruck march with 55 lb ruck
Land Navigation Skills mastered with 55 lb ruck
50m swim with boots, uniform, weapon and LBE
After candidates completed SFAS and were selected to attend the SF Qualification Course (SFQC), they remained on the training team until start date of SFAS. Those Soldiers would mentor SFAS candidates and focus on leadership tasks, small unit tactics, as well as maintaining physical fitness.
