Can someone explain what exactly that means?

@@deezbees4303 In the USA National rules, extortion with the robber or 7 was banned - You can't ask for card trades while the robber is active. During the game, Josh said "I can help you if you don't hit me" and we both understood he was referring to an ore trade but it was never explicitly stated. I don't hit him and we agree to the trade immediately after. This is why it was a "silent extortion" that flew under the radar of the tournament rules. Pretty cool!
