@@Mojo-IRE no mate -- you don't know why they thought she would win. you don't care to enquire and know why what I said is wrong because the vibes and instincts you already have in your brain are adequate for you as substitution for knowledge. Rory thought she would win because the polls have historically underrepresented republican voters, but had supposedly since overcorrected such that the underrepresentation would not occur in this election. In fact the polls were wrong again, but this was a logical basis for thinking kamala would win in swing states where an aggregate of polls had them neck and neck. also, in a later video scarramucci says vance is very smart and beat walz in the debate. the other thing is people are rarely able to predict the future and be fucking spot on about everything. these panellists do not purport to have that ability. it's not therefore an embarrassment that the thing that they may have hoped or believed would happen did not come to pass. to put it another way, they would not be more intelligent had they predicted the outcome because the infinite factors that contributed to the result were unknowable to anybody and are still unknown. this interpretive work is like art. the actual data is polling turnout, traffic data, browsing history, etc the interpretations of which are merely digestible reductions of the full picture, which a person cannot actually know.

@@samuelmather2469 why don’t they extend that to Trump? @@Mojo-IRE they’re not wrong, they’re propagandists. Rory just said we couldn’t get Bill Gates to condemn Trump when he was on the podcast. They sell themselves as unbiased, one lefty, one right wing, yet they’re establishment hacks, who,are all left compared to the country, in both America and Britain. I think most of Europe, too. The elite in a democratic State have to remain in touch with the people, the ‘demos’. They haven’t, thus lost their credibility , this authority to be the elite. They seem to dislike the indigenous populations of their countries, too, because they misaligned politically. Then go on about saving democracy. Can they be this lacking in self awareness? And we are starting to see the results, and 8p% of people’s lives are getting worse, while Rory and Alistair think everything is amazing. I’m happy Trump won to annoy these two, as they’ve contributed to making moat indigenous (and 4th+ generation Indian, black etc) peoples lives worse, whilst their have improved, and then tell us we are better off in a sanctimonious, condescending way that just makes them intolerable.

If that isn't spot on, I don't know what is. It's too bad he was interrupted by Anthony before he could finish his point. It isn't racism these people are expressing. It’s gone to the State level. It’s not a Federal issue. Stop lying, or learn the truth, cos you have it wrong. Each State makes the decision on it, which is how the system was designed. The government has become too centralized, which isn’t good in such a vast, diverse country. That’s why the founders designed it that way. Power should be localized. Just the big things, like freedom of speech, and the other Amendments, are non negotiable (unless 2/3 of States and the Senate and House vote otherwise, like the repeal of ban of alcohol). The ones in law currently have to be respected to be in the Union of States. And y’all call Trump a liar. It’s insane how many ‘smart’ people are in propaganda induced cognitive dissonance.
