When I was in the British Army we had an Indian Army Officer attached to us for acouple of weeks before he went on a course at Sandhurst. What a tough bloke he was. Could run like a deer cross country and run forever! Please do a reaction to the Indian Army 8th Mountain Division. Just top end mountain fighters. Guess you would be training in the Himalayan Mountains lol.

So my guess Its after 36 Hrs of a hell week

That unit of commandos is my favourite I love " MARCOS " ❤️🇮🇳 My Grandfather was a Petty Officer in INDIAN NAVY and they were also during 1971 Indo-Pak war. They need to tell us about that war when they attacked karachi by rocket launcher by a destroyer 20 kms away in sea from land and made a clear way for Indian Army to attack and conquer karachi. A little background to the video This is the selection process for the para SFs most of the narration was in hindi so u missed out on them those men were allowed 2 hr of sleep everyday for one week they were already being strained this video is abt the 36 hr stress phase mainly and the water they drank is more like drinks with herbs and other things that tastes and looks shit bt is good for ur body

About the drink they served, in the video they only mention that it was some ‘juice’ with added electrolytes. The probationers were intentionally told it was the water they bathed in as a mind game. There is no mention about herbs or how it tasted.

He died of loss of blood during the search operation in Kashmir valley Jungle where he was leading his team. He shot 4 terrorists while enduring multiple gun wounds , and leading his team during heavy fire when surrounded from 2 sides. He kept calming his team and leading them. His last words were , "Make sure noone escapes the net'".

The part where they are writing down stuff, it’s actually a memory test under stress. They have to recall things placed at random places during the weight shifting exercise 8 hours before this, when they did 3 rounds of 1.18kms lifting weights.

Let me give you summary:- :- They were in their Probationary Period with just 1-2hr sleep everyday in previous week :- It was 4°C when they woke up at 2am :-5hr- Battle Loads of 30Kg, 10km speed March on hill :- Carrying buddies was lessen for them 'never leave your teammate behind' :- All of this had everything they needed for mission after 7hr, but trainer still want to break them more physically & mentally & to find those who Never Give Up! :-9hr without eating or drinking, from 16 to 13 remaining :- Super Tired & then comes Water as cold as Ice :- Only 11 remaining after 14hr :- One more 10km speed march :- Extremely Tired, then comes the food n Sleep😌, But its not time for sleep yet :- 26hr done, 10hr left, again 10km speed march, Only 11 remaining :- In then end, From 23 on Day 1 of Probation to 16 before & only 11 after 36 Stress Hours ... Probation still continues, many more yet to come😬 (Sorry for any mistakes) *U should know more about Indian Army. Btw India have High Altitude Warfare School & Only few selected soldier from US, UK, Germany visit here for Special Training with Indian Special Forces*

The distance is relative to one's mental state. When I was going through reserve officers training in the Greek army we had to run around the brigade's camp with full gear, every morning. The running was combined with what our senior classmates, that were acting as DIs to the junior class, called Psychological Warfare. On one day they would tell us how great we were, that everybody was looking up to us, that we were the best of the best etc. We would complete the running and ask to go for a second round, just to make sure everybody else saw how good we were. The second day they would shout at us that we were useless, a disgrace to the army and that we had the audacity to want to become officers etc. We would barely complete the run and we were really dragging our feet in the end, although the distance was the same like the day before. In the end, it's all in the head.
