If there was so much disaster simulation training then why were the reports which stated terrorist may use planes as missles and kamikaze into buildings ignored? If she read the reports then she couldn't have been that surprised when it actually happened. I like her and almost feel bad that she had to stick with and stand by her Administration. I wonder if it will impact her future political career?

It was a worst surprise! No one anticipated that 7/11 attack. Did you anticipate it that would happen? Yes, there could be a lot of disaster training. Is a training how to handle unpleasant surprise? If you are Ms Rice. Would you handle it?

With some reluctance, she replied “I believe it was titled “Osama Bin-Laden determined to attack the United States using civilian aircraft”… “. How ON EARTH could anyone suggest the attacks of September eleventh were a surprise? The only question in my mind is whether or not it was merely unintentionally bungled, and “lost” or suppressed in the vast data streams of Washington bureaucracy, and inter-service rivalries (a shocking lack of communication and sharing of intel) within the intelligence/security agencies and departments, or whether it was intentionally suppressed and the attacks were allowed to happen in order to fabricate a pretext for war… If it was the former, and one of, if not the largest failure of the U.S. intelligence agencies, who exactly was punished or fired for this failure? Someone always is- that is how politics and bureaucracies work. No mid or high level individuals were ever fired for this…

On the cover of one of the pamphlets was a high- rise building in cross-hairs. “She just was never aware” right? Riiight…. Just feign incompetence. Here is another one, “ The FBI and the CIA just happened to have a failure to communicate with each other and the State Department.” Riiight You have to be on drugs to believe she is innocent…..

This is a pure propaganda interview. In her answer to question from 2:38 - she's lying through her teeth. A terror attack by running hijacked airplanes into buildings was very much an expected scenario by the CIA and should be no surprice to a National Security Advisor. There was even a fiction movie with a plot like that made in the 1990's. Maybe it did inspire someone.
