Spot on, a little advanced for the average roadside responder.

Not a bad summary. Having said that, it needs continuing practice, practice, practice, if you want to gain and retain these skills. If you don’t use it, you lose it.

If I’m assessing somebody to save their life, and they are concerned and whining about how they identify and asking permission before you touch them to assess them so you can save their life….get up, let them lay there and bleed and move on to another patient that will appreciate your efforts instead of them being all offended because you don’t play into their identity fantasy. Ain’t got no time for wokeness when it comes to emergency medicine/rescue.

I hate to break it up to you, brother, but nowadays if you perform any of those actions on a woman, after saving her life she WILL sue your a$$ for sexual assault. If she was conscious and gave you her permission to treat her, she will say that she was under duress, that she felt threatened, and she let you touch her fearing your reaction otherwise. I am not joking. It happened already, several times.
