The MiG 25 wasn't really a "fighter". It was built to counter the B-52 and other bombers over or near Soviet airspace. In that role, it was actually a "Pursuit" plane equipped with missiles only, not designed for dogfighting.

It can be a reality, but it wouldn't be an F-15 or F-15ex, it would be something basically new, or not really silent as far stealth in your waybof thinking of stealth. That was tried, but actually takes away from the f15 role in warfare. The f15 silent eagle wouldn't carry as many armaments as the legacy f15, due to everything hidden in its canard. It would be so bulky to be refitted to carry so such amount and male a bigger rcs,, and that alone changes the airframe. There are other factors, I'm just giving you the basics. That alone changes the role of an f15. Plus, the silent eagle wasn't actually a stealth jet, it had repression of it signature due to it's stealth coating, which only reduced its rcs. Everything that was good about the silent eagle was incorporated into the F-15ex, which actually makes it even beyond that the silent eagle. It even has the stealth coating and a wild range on it's radar tracking ability, more armaments, better engines, so it's good.

The f15 ex is pretty amazing for an advanced 4th gen jet. But didnt the f22 kill like 8-1 or something like that without ever even being radar locked. Still no 5th or 6th gen jet. But it is likely one of the best 4th gen on the planet.

5 but the F15EX has new radars, sensors, helmets, electronic warfare, itnhas a new canopy for better situation awareness, and computers that will make it easier to try to find the F22s. Also, the F35s are getting better and better. The F35 just broke the new record for their speed with their new flight envelope.

It should’ve kept the A3J vigilante and modernized it the dash the software the radar the friend in has enough radar space to run a three panel and as a bomber, they were the first flyby wire. Change out the engines to the same engine are using on the eagle combination scramjet because of its length.

I wish people would wake up & understand that we did NOT defeat Vietnam. Our technology was way beyond those black pajama wearing dudes with old Chicom rifles. We dropped so many bombs on North Vietnam that the explosions looked like carpet from the air. Those guys were like cavemen compared to us. We had lasers and bombs that were heavier than cars. And it meant absolutely nothing. I don't know why we are so obsessed with telling ourselves how amazing that we are. We did not win the war in Korea either. The Vietnam and Korean war era, American soldiers were way beyond the current 18 yr olds.
