Three police officers recorded their conversation by mistake while making up the charges they could put against a protester in West Hartford, Connecticut, on September 11, 2015.
The footage was released on September 15, 2016, the day when the American Civil Liberties Union of Connecticut filed a complaint on the District Court of Connecticut.
According to the complaint, Michael Picard was protesting on a traffic island when an officer approached him and took his camera. The officer then discusses with two other officials on how they could charge the protester.

Two things... 1: when posting these clips it would be nice to have an update in the description section or a link to the update 2: instead of the mishaps costing the local tax payers, the cops should have a insurance policy/bond they pay for which is used as the primary bucket when a lawsuit is lost. Ok there is a 3rd point... The police unions need to be disbanded as they support laws which protect these criminal cops (laws for the, not me)

@@willwinn8559 My point was, there's a difference between Cops and Law Enforcement, and there's a lot more Cops than Law Enforcement. Law Enforcement wouldn't do this, Cops would. So the cop should be charged with 1). assault for taking the camera. 2). fabricating charges leading to gaining control that would allow him to overstep the mans rights and his oath to the constitution. 3). Making false claims that would have him benefit from in ways like A). meeting his quota for arrests. B). money made for the police dept he works out of. C). protecting himself from being on camera. 4). Breaking his oath as he was caught fabricating. 5). slander 6). attempting to ruin a mans life and extortion. These officers should be in jail and all arrests or fines made by these officers should be deemed unworthy and reimbursed. The police dept that they work out of should have the captain hand back the money made from all their arrests and the whole station should have to undergo a mandatory retraining. That would stop the thin blue line mentality and allow cops to refuse to co-operate because the thought of retraining a whole dept after getting caught would hurt the whole group and would bring a real threat from the officers who had to be punished and retrained. LMAO Oh yeah...I'm all for an officer being suspended with pay if they are accused of committing a crime, But if convicted the paid leave, should have all from the time he accepts paid leave till the time he is convicted, have to pay it all back and to be all be taken back by any means necessary. I believe everyone has the right to a trial and if found guilty then and only then should a police officer lose his lively hood.

This is the type of corruption that scare the he'll out of me. If that man went to court and didn't have this proof. The judge would always take the police officers word over any citizen.
