What is H²O, was a good question. 1 Hydrogen and 2 Oxygen would be the answer chemically speaking, but it's water in general terms. I however can't remember if they are molecules or something else, as I haven't done basic chemistry in years nor looked at a chart with all the elements of matter. So, as Destiny said, you won't have this knowledge on hand if you are not using it regularly. Those girls they brought up likely could go in depth about whatever pursuits interest them that they actively follow and engage in, however their random questions likely would be total curve balls.

Debating with leftists - 3 hours of being unable to agree on a premise, mixed with gaslightning and being passive aggresive as much as possible Debating with conservatives - jumping from 1 conspiracy theory to another every two minutes
@pepelechad5362 жыл бұрын
To be clear, I wouldn’t call either of these two guys actual ‘conservatives’. They’re right-leaning, but especially in regards to Sneako, he has no genuine care for the conservation of tradition or archaic values. The only cause for his obsession with ‘trad-con’ masculinity is because it boosts his own platform and status. Myron is probably a lot closer to being a conservative, but in any international context is still very far removed from traditional values or a desire to preserve them. TL;DR, Sneako is a conspiratorial right-wing grifter, and Myron is ‘conservative’ cherry-picker.

I'm banned on airbnb because I got wrongfully arrested when I was 18, the case was dropped, I have no conviction or charges. I used airbnb for 5 years before that in more than a dozen countries on 4 different continents and 10+ US states, Puerto Rico, literally backpacked Europe and paid for over 4 months of airbnbs there when I wasn't in a hostel, likely over 9 months collectively staying in airbnbs over those 5 years, I went to an event with friends in England where the airbnb was $100 cheaper in USD than British Pounds so they gave me the money to pay the Airbnb, 1 year later we went to stay in the exact same place again and after booking it THAT is when I got banned for the background check, which at that point was 8 years old, and again, no conviction literally got arrested and the charges were dropped at my first court appearance when i was 18, and I'm still fucking banned, so you can get banned off AirBnB for literally nothing. I've heard of people who make their income off AirBnB for YEARS, have multiple properties they bought because of their airbnb income, who suddenly get banned and have to go bankrupt because of arrests from the 1970s and 80s. Like, fuck that company they are absolutely fucking garbage. So saying AirBnB is a big ban for Tate is wrong, I'd say it is the most easy to be banned from for no reason with 0 recourse.

Very sorry what happened to u tho! Can't u go to the station who arrested you and ask them to clear your record?!
@MediumDSpeaks2 жыл бұрын
@@jodiegordon5559 it doesn't matter. Laws actually have changed now in my state and a lot of states where after 7 years even convictions disappear (for convictions it is 7yrs after your sentence ended whether its probation or prison or jail, for other things it's 7 years after the date of dismissal not the date of arrest which still sucks) so I was trying to seal my record during COVID since this happened to me in February 2020, but I lived in a different city and would have to travel to my hometown to get an appointment at the police station and they weren't available for about 7 months. I made the appointment but got COVID when it came around, and then I found out the law passed after rescheduling. But airbnb even if you clear your record will only work off the information they got initially it seems according to the subreddit, I've gone on there and people who had their records sealed or expunged haven't gotten their accounts back. But that guy Tate got his compound raided and was keeping a missing American and a handful of other women there who were "working" for him online. If I was a trafficker I ABSOLUTELY would never admit it, not ever in my life, so I would say that's definitely not a fair benefit of the doubt, especially when he's so open about being a literal online pimp.

Myrons take on movies is the dumbest thing ive ever heard in my life. The truth isnt that womens stories are inherently boring. Its that modern day writers think they can replace good writing with bad virtue signaling. Alien, the girl with the dragon tattoo, the fight scenes choregraphed in atomic blonde. Hell even just ghost in the shell as a series and even the mean girls, All fucking fire. Alien revolutionized horror and sci fi, mean girls had fantastic writing, terminator 2 had sarah connor leading and it didnt automatically make the movie any less compelling. And this is just off the top. Fricking Sicario???? If you cant think of ANY compelling movies with women in leading roles, then that's on you. You clearly havent seen enough movies.

@@foodsupply5071 that could be true. If im going to assume, which i hate doing, he probably grew up watching the typical 80s 90s action movies and is used to that. So he may actively avoid viewing movies with female leads and only hears about the crappy "woke" ones for all the wrong reasons. It would be really sad if he had seen some of the movies i listed, and cant even appreciate them because of his worldview. Also, the "Hero's journey" story structure although popular, isnt the only viable story structure. And i really dont see anything gender exclusive about the hero's journey. I think one could stretch themselves to say "Sicario" had like deconstructed hero's journey, which was narratively pretty cool. Woman played the lead, and she was a Fed who was tasked with taking down the cartels. This movie is right up myrons alley. But i would love to hear his thoughts on some other classic female led movies. Also if women make for terrible subjects of films, does that also translate to literature as well?

Certainly Sneako’s bar of evidence for conspiracy is too low, I think Destiny’s is too high. At this point Destiny thinks that everybody is a rational actor and things happen through mass psychology. While plausible in many cases there are clearly times where companies and government institutions are willing to do things that are unpopular and unsavory for motives that may not appear rational to an outside viewer.
@zvxcvxcz2 жыл бұрын
People don't need to be totally rational actors for things to happen through mass psychology. It's not that companies have no interaction with government, but that they have interests that are independent of those of government, e.g. how Apple and law enforcement agencies have squabbled over encrypted devices. Yes, there are things where the government brings the warrant and gets what they're asking for under penalty of law, and there's other cases where the government doesn't have anything that strong and companies give them the cold shoulder. Payment processors are going to be extra touchy right now after the VISA stuff... so if someone being accused by the public of trafficking and then the other stuff shows up... yeah, of course Stripe will want to be on the forefront of the banning. Even if Tate didn't deal with Stripe in the first place, it positions them well in people's minds when contrasted with their competitor. You never know how many millions or even billions of dollars may be riding on that indirectly. My point is, there's no such thing as monolithic evil (or good for that matter), it is always individuals pursuing what they believe to be their own best interest (even if it isn't something that actually turns out to be in their interest, and including altruistic cases where they consider their best interest to be another's best interest). That is, it's not ever really fully centrally coordinated. Even in something like a dictatorship, they don't run because everyone is in cahoots with the leader, people do what the leader says because none of them individually are willing to be on the chopping block by dissenting. They don't turn in their fellows because they're a member of the conspirators, but rather because they aren't part of any inner circle that might have some clemency.
@NitBeanTheMachine2 жыл бұрын
@@zvxcvxcz This is partially true. Like I said I agree that most places conspiracy is applied aren’t accurate. However, I disagree that companies won’t forgo profits in favor of ideological statements and positions they feel they have to take. Again, fiduciary responsibility can be interpreted in many different ways and there are multiple examples of companies engaging in this behavior. I think there’s a middle ground between monolithic conspiracy and purely individual actors amalgamating into some essence completely divorced from personal virtues solely in pursuit of capital or (in the case of the government) accordance with the law. Regarding payment processors specifically, they really don’t have to worry about bad press or societal perception. The licensing alone to get registered in all fifty states for PPs is like ~100million (which you don’t get back). The startup costs are so ridiculously high, and there’s such a high barrier to entry that these companies essentially face zero repercussions for their actions short of strictly illegal activity. Visa/Mastercard stock price would probably remain unaffected if Tate were kept off MATCH, and if someone thinks there’s a direct correlation that would require extraordinary proof as relationships between events and stock movements are notoriously stochastic in nature. With this in mind I think it’s safe to assume that payment processors are acting based on their values rather than out of financial incentives.
@TheJoyrunners2 жыл бұрын
I agree with you here. Sneako obviously is off the deep end when it comes to conspiracy theories, but Destiny has this knee jerk reaction to anything with the “conspiracy” label. There are many cases where conspiracy theories started out as people online speculating, then a few years down the line they turn out to be correct. I remember seeing people online talking about Jeffrey Epstein and Hollywood pedophiles, and everyone thought that was a far out conspiracy. Now, we all know that this was true. I mean, the justification for the Iraq War is another example of the government conspiring to exert their will on the people. No one should be a Sneako, but I don’t think it’s good to think like Destiny either.
