India also has free national ambulance service. Not to mention, the government provides various medical schemes for poor and underprivileged people. Also India has world class government hospitals and medicals colleges like AIIMS(All India Institute of Medical Science)where you can get treatment at a surprisingly minimum cost. The reason imaging and labs cost that much in USA is because they always HAVE TO HAVE the latest machine, and these machines COST A LOT. In India they would make do with things years old and keep servicing them (as they should), as the performance increases are not that significant. I guess the US hospitals fear lawsuits for negligence in case they miss something due to older equipment. As for the drug costs, India is the cheapest and USA is the most expensive (to my knowledge), so no surprises. The only nice thing to see with regard to US bills is that the docs are not that mercenary compared to the other services. Kind gives you faith in humanity.

@@ReldrikGeo Interesting. May I know about the how debt collectors work there like who're they and what are their harrasment methods. Coz here in India debt collection is one of the darkest sector. Most of the debt collectors are uneducated goons and ruthless people, the banks recruit people like them. If we don't pay back debt at first these people call and harrass in bad words, then come to our house directly and insult us infront of our neighbours sometimes they come and sit outside our house and never leave entire day. And mobile app loan is even worst here. These apps get permission for access of mobile contact and gallery information. There're cases where they took photos of the unpaying customers and morphed their photos into nude and shared it to all the contact members through WhatsApp and disclosed they're not repaying the loan properly to all the contact members. Lot of people have committed suicide because of that.

India runs a pan-India healthcare scheme for the poor households. Under that scheme, every person is entitled to free healthcare upto Rs. 5 lakh, which translates to just over 6000 USD in absolute terms and roughly 20000 USD in PPP terms. Given that India produces generic medicines instead of expensive branded ones, an average person basically gets his treatment for free.

America is a corporate driven democracy, so is india running on same path . America is best example of modern slavery system. Both india as well America are not people democracy. Democracies run by private players. Doctor is said to be nobal profession but high salary of doctors and luxury is to be extracted from treatment of person. High salary is biggest cause of inflation in world. Easy money is target of all business so such fraud are going in name of democracy. America is not a country to be looked in for as a democracy of people but as corporates run democracy. We indians have destroyed our nature of help. Service is not service but service is of money. This comparision is that india is getting fast to make life of Indian citizen worst. In reality so called developed countries are far underdeveloped insted they have destroyed human thinking with money. Developed country means how worst you have made a country to survive for citizen. India is making it at fast rate let us take example of petrol here half price is charged as tax by govt itself, what a shame govt itself exploiting people. People's democracy it's is fun for india and America. Here comparison is made between doctors charge between india and America But india is expensive in health that more then half population do not even intent to move to hospitals. India doctor laughing but not Indian people. All are getting gripped by corporates. Letting services go in hands of private players is curse for humans on earth. India is on wrong path of democracy. We are getting in grip of corporate democracy. Nothing to do with America we need to save our nation.
