The only different is the way they are sliced, thicker in Japan and thinner in the States. There's no way you can know the actual quality and freshness without eating it. The tomatoes and olives might look different, but they don't look wilted or expired, they are just cut different. That's all.

for a second they were doing a food lab type thing where they'd try to remake the foods from the chain restaurants using the ingredients list, and harry was the "scientist" in it, but i guess it didn't stick, because i think they only made one episode. it'd be fun if while us vs japan is going, they had the food lab thing so we could still get some harry

My daughter's Subway has a kid's size drink and a 20 oz. as well as the other two. She, also, sells soup in the colder seasons. There are low fat chip options and individual pizza in her store. They sell peanut butter cookies as a limited time item. And lastly, there is bottled water, milk, and sliced apples. Keep up the good work George.💜
@johnr797

Most subway stores are franchised and they can choose to a certain extent what to offer on their menu in different locations. Although another possibility is the manager just tries to upsell everyone on drinks so hides all the small size cups lol

Hi Joe, please remember there are people allergic to bread! I used to love subway - but since they do not have a gluten free bread option, I am relegated to salads only! Their steak egg and cheese breakfast sandwich actually makes a pretty awesome breakfast bowl. What would be even better is subway getting a gluten free wrap or something of that nature ... but thats neither here nor there! Anywhoo ... they exist for a reason. Thanks!

As a former Subway Sandwich Artist (in Canada), I have to say, the party sub was son much fun to make. They are actually braided by hand so it's very time consuming. As for the drink, did they account for the ice? It takes up space and might account for the missing 6oz.

@@JoeAvella I just caught some of the chat you had with George. you are thin, your cheeks are absolutely rosy and healthy, perfect teeth..... I think you are eating veggies in the closet! LOL. A bowl of roasted Brussel sprouts in the dark between the winter coats and shoe rack. I am glad you found George. The second video I saw of him was the one where he was teaching us to cuss in Japanese. I had so much fun taking that "class." LOL. I was cussing at the screen. I hope to expat to Kyoto, or just outside in a smaller town. If I live to be 80 tho, in order to stay I have to speak fluent Japanese. Starting with cuss words is a start in my book. LOL Good shows.

Dang, I 'm jealous of the tandoori chicken sub. Interesting that you can get Indian chicken in Japan, but not here in the US, which is pretty big on Indian food in most big cities (I'm in Los Angeles).

In 2017, the CBC did an analysis of Subway's chicken that showed it was only 50 percent chicken (in Canada, anyway.) Subway took them to court for defamation... and lost.

i used to work at subway and the melts were not that hard to make. it was just like making a regular sandwich (with triple cheese) and then you put it in a bag and put it on a special setting in the toaster. easy peasy.
