The naked Chicken Taco is not exclusive to Japan, it's called the naked Chicken Chalupa, it used to be served in 2 types, the wild or mild version. It had an exclusive spicy wild sauce, and the mild was just the creamy guacamole sauce we normally used. I used to work at a tacobell when they were first getting released, another thing but it's seasonal that I believe was US exclusive were the nacho fries. EVERYBODY would complain when they were discontinued until the next season every hour, everyday "Do you guys still have the NACHO FRIES?!?!" "No." Immediately drives away furious.

@@SummerDream222 It's all marketing driven. Essentially the core fundamentals to manipulation, you give someone something that's really good, and a LOT of it! You keep it going for a while but not too long, long enough to where they expect it and crave it! Then.... you rip it away from them and allow no access to said thing anymore until you say so. Essentially get you hooked then take it away, meanwhile you're going crazy waiting until it comes back again and spread the word to your friends/family about said thing that gets them hyped up too. Literally the introduction to the Nacho Fries.... they are absolutely delicious. Crispy medium thickness fries, seasoned with spicy taco seasoning and served with a cup of nacho cheese. 0.0

Having worked at the Bell for a while, I can provide some insight. If you're bored, give it a read: The Gordita Crunch also has a sauce on it which wasn't mentioned, the Spicy Ranch sauce. 5 layer burritos have a soft taco shell inside them. Chipotle Sauce is objectively the best sauce because I say so. Many items are cycled through various Taco Bells to help keep the menu feeling fresh (ie. Recent items cycled through in the past through years at US Taco Bell locations include the [not Japan exclusive] Naked Chicken Chalupa and Seasoned Fries). While Japan may offer one or more products now, they may not for long, or the US may add them to their stores temporarily. Generally you could've requested the Gordita Crunch be made with a Dorito Taco shell even before it became an independent menu item. Those shells are pretty delicate, so it wasn't a huge deal when a few customers per week wanted to change it up a bit. Ask to swap the Jalapeño Ranch sauce on your quesadillas with Chipotle sauce. The portioning utensils are standardized, so the differences in weight/size are purely due to whomever prepared your order and the circumstances they were in at that time as a store (busy v not busy, super late v super early, new team members versus the seasoned vets) rather than the location's country. While not up to company standards, it was something that happened with newer team members which gets better as they get more shifts under their belts. Order me some Chicken Chipotle Melts please. The kiosks were added to help free up some labor, but they also encourage customization. Honestly I loved that addition, and the (wonderfully run to this day) store I worked at was a testing location for them. Speaking of the store I worked in, it was a Cantina location. We served beer and alcoholic slushies. Yes... alcohol served at a Taco Bell. Chipotle Sauce goes well on everything except Cinnabon Delights. When the fries were available in our store, we had a guy who pretty much every shift I worked around 6pm would order about 9 cups of fries (sometimes more, sometimes less, usually 9) over either DoorDash or Uber. I started putting smiley faces on his bags as a small token of recognition. I'd also deep fry a batch minutes before 6 in preparation since they were so timely about it. It helped us get him a fresh batch without delaying other orders (fries took relatively long in the deep fryer). You can probably make, or at least simulate, most "exclusive" or discontinued items since locations operate off of similar basic ingredients. I'll miss you, pico. Try ordering a beer at a Cantina and watch how they fill the cups, you'll thank me later for the wizardry. I know, that last one wasn't about the Chipotle sauce. There's no special message, I just like pretty much everything with it. This is half me talking about random things Taco Bell related, and half me just saying I need the sauce in my life. Taco Bell, if you're listening, I know it's been over a year, but we left on good terms. Please keep the Chipotle Chicken Melt on your menu.

I plan on traveling outside the US once I get my degree (specifically Japan, college has an English-teaching program there), and while I'll have to get used to the smaller portion sizes, one thing that I'm looking forward to is that absolutely everything just seems to be healthier outside the US, even if it's only to a minor degree. Even meal-type junk food in Japan seems to be much healthier than the kinds of things you get in the US. I honestly expect that I might lose a small amount of weight while I'm there simply because of the changes in ingredients. (Obviously, I'm not comparing something like JP Taco Bell with US Taco Bell, more like food in general)

@@Crathenhart11 Taco Bell has actually skyrocketed lately. A single soft/crunchy regular taco is like 1.60$ and the supremes are 2.50$, the party pack is actually a discount because they're priced at ~10 tacos whereas you get 12. Also this is in Louisiana, California is MORE expensive since this video was filmed and the party pack there is now like 28$. So yeah, literally indicative of the prices in America.
