No one does *fast food* nuggets like McDonald’s in my opinion. I feel like the rest all taste like either rustlers chicken, frozen chicken or fridge raiders. The best nuggets I’ve had were from a place called Bunk in Leicester. Not sure if they’re anywhere else in the UK but they were a major go to during university. Great portions for the price, and the nuggets were fresh chicken breast in a really lovely breadcrumb

I feel like the formed patty nuggets are nuggets. The more modern trend of just cutting up a chicken tender into smaller pieces results in a more delicious product, but I think you're no longer dealing with a nugget.

When you think about it, the KFC Popcorn Chicken isn't really like designed for dipping. We have these in Australia, LOVE these Popcorn Chicken, but never really consider dipping them in sauce in mind. When it comes to dipping those sauces (that is weird out of context)... the chips are the dipping tool because like the UK we are potato fanatics. McDonald's Nuggets... yeah, people do dip them in sauce, but I stick to my chip dipping roots. My favorite sauces from KFC are Tomato, Aioli and the Supercharged aka the Zinger Burger Sauce.

"Ground meat method" is a myth. Chicken nuggets are made using a process called mechanically deboned meat. It takes 2 seconds to google this. I know exactly how nuggets are made and I still eat them. Don't spread information if you do not know the process.
