Love the handball love!! Small correction: it’s normally 6 on 6 plus goalies. Pulling the goalie can make it 7 on 6. Whenever you’re serving a 2 minute suspension, teams will frequently pull the goalie to have even strength on offense. More handball highlights please!!!
@thefriesens1071 Жыл бұрын
Not being very knowledgeable about handball, I'm guessing it's fairly low risk because the games are so high scoring.
@jacobjohnson4243 Жыл бұрын
@@thefriesens1071 that’s one part!! There’s a lot more strategy and control in handball than in hockey. While your team is running the play, you have a pretty good idea of when a hole is gonna open up before a shot, so the winger can get a 1-3 second head start back to the bench and then your goalie can run back into the net. Worst case scenario, like you said it’s just yet another goal :)

5:21 in handball it’s usually a 6 on 6 plus a goalie. And some teams pull the goalie to have a 7 on 6. But the goalie will almost always be pulled for a penalty kill to make it a 6 on 6 again.
@alphabit26 Жыл бұрын
To be clear, handball is normally 6 on 6 with a goalie. The reason they only had 6 when they pulled the goalie is probably because of a 2 min penalty or a red card at the time. It makes sense to bring your goalie in to attack at full strength if you are fast enough to get back in time for the throw off.
