Here is the US Track And Field Relay Pool for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

My understanding is that once the meet starts 4 athletes can be listed for a relay team, along with 4 named substitutes. The team can shuffle these 8 runners in any order they chose for the qualifying and final rounds, but they can't deviate outside the 8 runners they select at the start of the meet. Is this correct? If so, I assume the USA will put Sydney on the substitute list for the 4x4 and only use her in the finals? Same for Netherlands with Bol.

I'll be happy to help you! Here's the revised text: I'm surprised Christian Miller didn't make the relay pool. He seems to be the future of the 100m for the US. Both he and Athing Mu should have been on the team. It's important to acknowledge what she means to the US team. I believe she should have won her appeal. The three women going in the 800m probably won't make it to the semifinals.

She fell in her meet and is already injured. It sucks but she needs to get better and wait

Hobbs should not be considered in no 4x100 relay…. It should be Davis,TeeTee Terry, Melissa Jefferson, & Sha’Carri…. They would definitely dominate.

When was the last time Athing Mu ran a 400m race? I would love to see her in Paris, but honestly, she didn't look to good in the rounds of the 800m. She did not look race sharp at all.

According to the World Athletics in 2022. She had a SB of 50.42.

Unfortunately, she didn't have a large enough body of work this year to justify bringing onto the team. Due to injury, she did not have enough competition. It is sad because falling in the 800 was not her fault and had she been able to qualify for the 800 she would have definitely been an option for one or both 4 x 400 meter relay teams.

They need mathew. Boiling instead of rai Benjamin. The hurdler can get injured. And suffer for his main event.

They should have found a way to include Athem Moe on the US team, she fell in the trials, she’s the reigning Olympic champion for God sakes! This is not right!

I'm sure they would have if she had run some track meets this year. Even though she is one of our best 400m rummers, she still needed to prove she was in shape as well as prove she recovered from her injury. I hope this makes her come back stronger next year because she's amazing.

She competed with and injured hamstring that was worsen by the fall. She needs to stay home and get herself back to peak form.
