Steak & eggs is mostly what you get at a restaurant when you don't want to cook but want something hardy. Most Americans are not going to cook steak in the morning. Pancakes is weekend or something kids like on occasion. 3am hell yea that is when I want eggs & pancakes or eggs & toaster waffles. Potato cakes & fried tomatoes Or leftover cornbread & cold pizza with grits sweet tea or apple juice ... Southern American ... Ate this often in Kentucky. (Potato cakes are a pancake made with leftover mashed potatoes & oats or canned refried beans & mashed potatoes)... Its simpler takes less time than a traditional pancake. We usually make that when having leftovers from the night before. My usual Breakfast begal, with cream cheese or butter & jam with cutecumer, spinach, everything bagel seasoning & scrambled or sunnyside up with oatmeal. When I don't want to cook. cereal or overnight oatmeal with toast & peanut butter + banana ... No toaster - whole wheat tortilla wrap with peanut butter & banana Also sandwich pureed pumpkin or pureed carrot & banana - cinnamon at school or work around someone with peanut allergies.

@@Ihcaza it’s really not that expensive lol. The only “expensive “ ingredient on this list is the bacon. Everything else is like 1-2$. This is why a typical southern breakfast on a Sunday is all about. (Some may differ) but where my momma is from In Tennessee, this was every Sunday. And we made toast, grits, the works. It’s worth it because you enjoy the best meal of the day with your family and there’s nothing more precious than that. Get some milk and orange juice and you’re good to go!

When I was in Ypres at a bed and breakfast, the host made us a delicious breakfast with like the bacon being covered by the egg and the eggs seasoned to perfection. The bacon was also amazing as well, and when I made it back in Germany (I am not from Germany me and my dad were just there for work) We cooked it again, and I am glad I can still have it, European breakfast hits different

I am from Texas, and I've had some really good breakfast in my day. Stop in many mom and pop cafes, I love my eggs over easy, with toast and some good hasbrowns, homemade biscuits, and sausage gravy, Yum but I will admit when I was in Scotland for my honeymoon I absolutely loved the English/Scottish breakfast, I ordered that every where we went!
