Mustaches May well remember in 2018, and 2017 , each new senior from the US would get meltdowns , riley almost killed herself on beam, fell on bars , and had very big mistakes ....mailie okeefe also almost fell on her neck on bars , out of bounds , also a fall on beam , so they would always crumble under the pressure of being a new senior in an international stage and a big competition...but leanne won and she deserved her win m very consistent and so clean

I'm a huge fan of hers. I think her style would do super well with international judges at Worlds and the Olympics. With a slight increase in difficulty and refined execution, she'd be World Class for sure.

She had many wobbles and some form issues, I think that's what she would get in an international competition, which is good Funny how american judges score their gymnasts, some are clearly so overscored compared to international judging while others are scored fairly

What do you mean the missing 2 tenths in D? She was awarded a 5.9, and I'm sure she lost the CC between her front aerial and split ring jump. Is that what you mean? And for your E score, I think I'd add another 2 tenths or so for incomplete rotation and feet apart upon landing in the dismount. Also at least 2 tenths for pauses before her acro series and dismount. Also, I’d add a tenth for Leanne's body posture ending her acro series, and I wouldn’t deduct her opening leaps.

@@noahbyrd6080 I thought it should've been a 6.0 at least cause her turns didn't seem very connected, but you can't really deduct for the incomplete rotation without devaluing the skill which would've been 3 tenths off the D. I edited it, but I would've probably gone the full 6.1 and just deducted a tenth from the connections pauses. Also, her head was at the height of the beam so I didn't take off anything for the landing position.

Honestly I hate this code. In previous codes I could add up the deductions, I don't understand deductions at all anymore. Her switch ring was pretty bad but other than that...

She has .3 in the ring jump after the front aerial, .4 in her side somi and .5 on the dismount. That's 1.2, the rest is small form deductions, adjustments and choreo. This should be 7.90 IMO.

Where are the judges getting all of their deductions? Just from looking at the score you’d think she fell, but she had one major bobble and that was it! Otherwise a very solid routine with some pretty good difficulty!!!

Lots of the deduction total came from the dismount. Impressive looking but she didn't make it all the way around for one thing.

Unfortunately balance check is not the only deduction on balance beam. Dance form, such as that switch ring alone can be 0.5 (her back was not arched enough, and her back foot was nowhere near the crown of head and it was not pointed well). The landing as well, she underrotated her triple.
