So happy Leanne came back and redeemed herself on this event. She has always been so calm and steady in beam and that is a characteristic sorely lacking in many elites! Her BB is right up there with Sunisa/Jordan/Riley and probably slightly better after all’s told. Having solid BB routines at Nationals and Trials will be key to making her case for a team spot over similarly competitive AA girls.

what's up with the horrible, atrocious lighting? why is it so dark and the lights so bright? and why are we watching this as if filmed from someones cell phone? ugh, its so distracting, all the recent meets in US have been like this, I feel like I'm watching a bad sci fi movie

I know they were trying to go for more ‘dramatic’ lighting but ppl really didn’t like it and the gymnasts themselves said they had issues w visibility in the past. I’m like, um, if the lighting literally hinders the way the ATHLETES do the EVENT, maybe you should change it??? Like???
