Usborne book collection: are these books worth buying?

I too feel the same way about Usborne books. Guess we should look for the topic. I usually search KZbin for an usborne book. There are lots of short videos showing the entire book and then I decide whether I should get that or not We have a few Usborne Big Books. They are of ordinary papers- may easily tear if not used properly. But they have these quite large fold - outs which are quite amazing even for us adults

The same happened with Aesop’s illustrated stories that I purchased. I mistakingly read one story about a fox and it ended on a depressing note, my child asked not to read that book again. My mistake for not reading it before I read it to him.

@@Feelgoodmama you mean the 50 books set? No we dint buy that one since we already have the phonics 12 bookset! You need to buy 2 more books if you don't have them already....1st is Mr Betts and Mr. Potts and 2nd one would be Messy Moo and Mischief Moo! They are treasures!

Forgot to add🙂 your video on open ended toys made a huge impact on us. We invested in magna tiles, rainbow stacker etc and these toys encouraged my child in free play
