Michael Irvin is a passionate, take charge & leader of men. HIs growth has been inspirational...i see why Skip use to say he'll take Irvin over Rice. Guys like Irvin, Ray lewis don't come around often...when your leader is one of your most talented players, you have something special.
@joenicedj

Exactly this. I never understood why Skip would say MIchael Irvin is a better wideout than Jerry Rice, but those leadership intangibles Skip always talks about are obvious with Michael Irvin. Jerry Rice was impossibly talented, but never moved the needle. Irvin moved the needle. So did Ray Lewis. Skip always said Ray Lewis is the greatest leader in sports history. Irvin is on that level. So is another close friend of Deion's and Michael's, Warren Sapp. Wonderful to see.

Regarding that D-Line, Bishop is the only guy who's not a graduate I would bring back. I'm not so sure the D-Cordinator would be back. You a total defense ranked 126 out of 130 with 10 new starters. Now, one thing people are not talking about is the QB competition they've faced. 4 out 5 QBs are in the top 25 passing with 3 being in the top 10, and 2 in the top 5. This defense has been shredded by two top 5 QBs in CSU QB (4th ranked) and USC QB (3rd ranked). So they're schedule is brutal with solid teams from UCLA to Utah to come.

The play calling on the last drive was not coaches call. #2 said he checked into those plays because of the defensive looks. He said they werent the coaches calls but calls he audibled too. He basically said he is still learning and shouldnt have, but the look the defense gave him made him audible to the runs He thought he could bust it up the middle but he got baited which is cool this is is 4th game at this level. He will be fine he is a savant of the game.

The offensive coordinator Lewis was late on calling the plays that whole entire drive n it’s coordinator Lewis job to make the call n from that point it’s on Shedeur to check it. The blame goes to coordinator Lewis, Shedeur just took the blame to get the heat off of how bad Lewis has been this year.

Seeing the adversity response out of Colorado is really impressive and shows that they’re being coached well IMO. It’s definitely fun to wonder what this team can possibly become in the coming years with some time having Deion at the helm and him truly going all out on recruiting people over. If they can respond and perform like they did this past game and have that toughness and resiliency going forward as the roots take hold and everybody gains the experience of playing at the top level in college football they very well could become a powerful team. Right now they obviously lack a lot of the talent that’s needed to compete with the elite programs nationally but once Deion gets out there they should start landing the talent they’ve lacked and if they get that talent to go with the mindset it’ll be cool to see what the result could be in due time. I really hope Deion truly commits to build something for the long term there because if he could take them to the mountaintop it would be possibly the coolest accomplishment possible considering just how bad Colorado was for so long before prime came in.

Coach prim I have a question....... After looking at the games.... And seeing all the holding calls that the referee did not call against the opposite team. How do you feel about that... Are you going to address that..... Number 14 was caughting the touchdown pass while being held fuslie, the reference was right there no penalty was called are you going to do something about it ? I mean address situation?
