Right now college football needs to change the structure to the pro style of contracts or we will never have a competitive balance amongst the teams. No pro team can field a competitive roster with players leaving every year or days after “committing” to a team.

Lake McRee reminds me of Tyler Higbee (Rams). When Higbee was drafted out of Western Kentucky his career numbers were nothing special but it was obvious he was talented. Like Higbee. Lake will probably be a good Professional TE.

I agree with you Marc that a new GM won't fix all of USC's problems, but we are tired of Uncle Phil (Oregon) swooping in and out bidding and taking players from our roster or getting our top recruits..That's what bothers me the most. I just can't believe there aren't any rich billionaires in the state of California who are alums of the university who wouldn't want to help out the program. They came up with 110 Mil pretty quickly to hire LR. Maybe he should give some of that towards NIL. The wonderful gentleman who donated 50 Mil to the new football facility should say spread some for NIL. Is Phil Knight the only wealthy alum that donates to his university? Don't we have George Lucas and Mark Benioff?? I'm pretty sure they can go dollar for dollar with Knight if they wanted too. Maybe they do or maybe they don't care about the program. But you get the point USC should take a back seat to NO ONE in NIL including Oregon or Texas A@M..They just shouldn't.

Here's the thing. Never say never. The Rams found a Superbowl winning QB on aisle 5 stocking shelves at a Hy-Vee supermarket in Iowa. It does appear USC is looking for bargain bin options to fill positions? JUCO RB's ? Walking dead QB's? Huards only game against a legit D1 team was San Jose State and he went 11 for 17 for 66 yards 0 TD's 1 Int and they lost 59-3. Last year USC brought in Juco Co offensive player of the year WR Jaden Richardson and the guy has not seen much combat at USC. I would've preferred USC gone after RB Dean Connors (Rice) a proven productive starter but he's not on the endcaps at Walmart and maybe too expensive for USC.

SC will be fine ,we were in every freaking game with basically a mash unit on defense and untimely turnovers, defense will be much improved offense will be steady and a weaker schedule 10-2✌🏽

We got a backup QB for Jayden but not an elite type of transfer QB. I guess USC did not want to spend the NIL money on a veteran elite QB as it could upset the locker room. Wasn’t Caleb Williams a transfer QB to USC that got big NIL money? I guess Riley is done with veteran elite QB’s and the passing game and will go to the running game in the 2025 season.

Like I've said before oregon is simply beheading a foe, they enticed bear because he was a central part of the defense, pregnon a similar important piece.
