USC WBB's Lindsay Gottlieb, JuJu Watkins, and McKenzie Forbes spoke to the media following their final game of the 2023-2024 season.

The fact that Juju committed to USC when they have been irrelevant for years shows you she's a winner. Didn't go to a program that has been established and has been winning. Instead she made USC relevant and didn't take any easy routes. Respect young lady. I'm a big fan. Also the way she's that hurt that her team lost tells you how much she cares about the game and how badly she wants to win.

@@desixox That's why I love women's basketball, they have an emotional bond with each other . When a player is injured, they huddle around the player protecting, giving comfort untill they are carted off. They hold hands in a time out as a team , listening to a screaming coach trying to stop/slow down Clark ! I like Uconn . They were able to slow down Juju , forcing other players to shoot . They have a pretty good shooter themselves, i hear. PB

Juju as an Iowa fan, Clark and Iowa got eliminated in the sweet sixteen as a freshmen, and look at the tremendous improvement, growth, and maturity that she displayed over the years. I think you will do great things. Keep on, keep your head high, and I envision USC will be a final four team multiple times over in the future.

What are you talking about Forbes was excellent , as she has been all season. Paige b reminded peopl why she is player of year caliber when healthy. Up in was more experienced and played their a game-if they bring that same intensity energy and shooting for two mroe games they are champs. I will say this uconn played A level defense, USC B level defense. No surprise there.

Yes the season was great and she has to learn and move on DONT let the tears be your way of saying HEY BE EASY ON ME I JUST LOST A IMPORTANT GAME OR YOU HAVE TO LET ME HAVE MY WAY I JUST GOT BEAT IN A BALL GAME IM HURTING over something you choose to do in life and this is part of a lesson that’s a life lesson, there will be ups and downs and the world doesn’t revolve around you Star or just another ball player the Basketball should be secondary to your education every young person should now that on a Real note and tears aren’t suppose to get you your way and sympathy can be a two edge blade. As a child some of us got punished more because we cried and surely there’s nothing wrong with that emotion make sure that you get yourself through this and come to terms with that emotion so it can actually myeloma make you a stronger person when it comes to feel as a failure… And that ladies and Gents that’s a Story for another Day. I hope one day she can be one our leaders in a country that needs them and Basketball would be just a part of you that you had fun doing and you’re pleasing You…

This team is young AF. No shame in that loss. It all came down to experience in the end. Hell, even Gottleib is young. No way was she gonna outcoach the Legendary Gino Auriemma in a close game. No shame at all. I'm proud of this team. And I'm delighted to witness JuJu Watkins as a Trojan. I'm a Trojan FB Fan and don't watch their BBall programs much if at all. I was a kid when Cheryl Miller was there so I didn't really watch her much until the Olympics. The only player that had me watching USC Basketball game to game, was Harold Miner. JuJu is the second player to instantly turn me into not only a Trojan BBall fan, but a College BBall fan. I don't watch the men's tourney. THere's nobody in Mens College BBall I'd pay to watch. They all go to the pros after one year, and some don't go at all and just play in the G-League/Overseas. I'd pay to watch JuJu. I'd pay to watch Caitlyn. I'd pay to watch Bueckers, I'd pay to watch Flau'Jae Johnson...It's all about stars. Make stars, and you'll make fans, and then you'll make $$$$. It's that simple. JuJu is a bonafied star.

No, they handed it to them. UConn missed 6 straight free throws during a crucial window, and only made 4 of 10 down the stretch, leaving the door wide open. USC proceeded to dribble off their foot and miss 3 straight shots. They handed it to them.

Probably her best game in the tourney IMO🤷♂️ She has some questionable shots towards the end, but that's when they were already playing from behind. The turnovers and lack of securing a bucket on takeaways is what killed them.

Coach Gottlieb should be fired and be replaced with Kellie Harper, the former coach of Tennessee women's team who was just fired on Monday, because Gottlieb has no experience coaching for or against the teams from the conferences in the eastern half of the U.S. with most competitive basketball teams, whereas Harper does.

I am not sure why ppl get on the Internet and embarrass themselves commenting on things that they have no clue about. Coach G. is a Top 5 Coach in the nation. She had great pedigree coming in - having taken a team with no heritage in WBB to the Final Four at Cal and being one of the extremely few women to ever coach in the NBA. She is an Outstanding Recruiter - convincing JuJu to stay home and come to USC and bringing in the #1 Class in the nation for 2024. Not to mention, if you watched this team throughout the season, Coach G made excellent in-game decisions. She is likely the Best Basketball Coach - male or female - that 'SC has had in the past 30+ years. We are Fortunate to have her!!
