3 years fighting to get my wife herefrom Liberia , and went through my Congressman, Senator and immigration lawyer who just loves money....the struggle still continues. God keeps giving us strength

I applied for my wife late Sep 2020. I got approved Late Jan 2021, i-130. Texas office handled it. I was surprised it was done in 4 months. The timelines says 8.5-10.5 months. Good luck to rest of you. NVC already processing my case, just need to submit few more civil documents.

It’s a business - when a department denies a case you now have to spend more money to fight the denial so it’s all $

Hard to argue with this. There is probably more to it than just the money, but the money is part of the problem. Jim

My wife and I had her green card interview last week and we were separated the interrogated . The officer asked strokes interview like questions but we did the best we can to remember details. Now we have another interview scheduled again but we don’t know what type of questions or what is susceptible to happen in that interview. If anybody knows how it’s going to go or has experienced something similar please let us know it will be helpful. God bless you all

Yes, sir. That’s true. Unless it’s a fake marriage then the “wife” is just a “somebody”

I don't think I understand. USCIS is making it harder for married couples. Do you mean the married couples who come on CR1 and receive the 2 years green card? The USCIS is visiting the homes of those people?
@m0nimoni3 жыл бұрын
That's what I wonder too, what would be the point though? You can't move to the US till you're granted cr1. This is actually what we are planning to do, want to get married in Denmark, he is in the US, I'm here, he owns his house and lives alone, I don't see how visiting him would benefit uscis in any way

True i feel the immigrants who will mainly benefit from the new president are the DACA and asylum seekers not so much the regular legal immigrants
