Just testing out a new hack for using any adapted EF Lens with Canon RF 2X Extender and Commlite EF-RF adapter. Turns out it is working better than the EF 2X iii version. #rf2x #canonextender #wildlifephotography #macrophotography

Hello, I am going to test this Hack with the 1.4X TC on a 70-300 L which normally cannot have a TC. I find your example interesting, but the TC 2x on the 300 gives soft photos. On the other hand, on the 50mm macro it apparently works well.

What about IQ and AF performance between this RF-EF mix compared to EF 2x iii + EF lens ? Don't know if you have (had) the possibility to try this combo. Same quesiton with 1.4x

do not stack 2 TC together won't bring any more benefit as each TC zapps up power and makes lens lag when not enough power to drive the motors and IS. this combo is good cause it is faster focusing than using the EF 2x iii

RF TC lens is brighter than the EF version maybe due to the lens construction & clarity also RF TC focuses faster on RF mount body than EF adapted

Use a 1.4x teleconverter, and many apsc lenses would become full frame lenses.

did you know the r6 mk2 on 800 and 600 does give you a large focus box.

that's why I'm peeved with the RF100-400mm on R8 with a small box which should not be hopefully they release a firmware for R8
