Thanks for sharing! Olaplex is my favorite bond treatment. I just feel it has a unique formula that gets into the hair that other bond treatments don't have and that it's worth it for me. As for strengthening treatments I do get weary because its easy for my hair to get brittle from over using protein. I once used the Camille Rose Coconut water treatment and it made my hair feel so brittle and caused a lot of my hair to shed/break off because my hair got brittle from the treatment and it took some weeks and washes to recover.

I bought the Curlsmith bond salve along with a deep conditioner and prepoo of theirs but have been afraid to use it because the other two caused me to shed so much hair both times I used them. I've seen reviews from a few people talking about shedding after using different CS products. Even though I haven't specifically seen it with the salve, I suspect there is simply some ingredient CS uses in all their products that does not work with my scalp's biochemisty. K18 is wonderful on my hair, just so expensive! Makes my hair both butter soft and strong, great elasticity too.

I tried the MoKnowsHair mask on your recommendation a year ago and I agree the smell is very strong and I don't think I could repurchase because it would upset my allergies too much now especially during allergy season. I remember it feeling really nice in the hair and relaxing my hair , however there were some ingredients in their I felt was just coating my hair so based on the ingredients I never bought it again. The ingredient was: TRIMETHYLSILOXYAMODIMETHICONE and its not a water-soluble silicone. I do know I could just use a stronger cleanser to remove it but I like to use water soluble conditioners and stylers and use gentler shampoos.

Great video. SheRea DelSol put me on the the Repair Me instead of using Aphogee 2 step since with the Repair Me I don't have to follow up with a moisturizing conditioner, but of course I still do to be on the safe side. Since finding that I'm low/normal porosity I'll be using only once a month after I clarify to give me a good starting base for the month.

It may not relate with this video but i really have a hard time with frizz on my ends especially on the crown area .. the frizz is so annoying .. i deep conditiona alot , us water and i think i have no build up cause when i use softening spray for my ends they suck it up and it becomes soft but the moisture it's temporary and it becomes frizzy again.. i reallly need help

@@ALove4Me my last wash which was a week ago...it was a protein treatment of eggs, yogurt, banana, avocado and honey... i saw in google that it was a protein treatment. I don't know what i do wrong I trim my ends but it takes a month for them to be frizzy again.. that's too much hair for me to trip every month

Great products review! The Bond Salve is one of my favorite Curlsmith products and I have sample sizes of the Olaplex #0 and 3 to try out soon. I just received the Mo's Curl Treatment ($5 Sally's sale going on now!l) in the mail yesterday. Yes, it smells like a strong men's cologne but I can tolerate the scent. Looking forward to using this for the first time. I also have the She Scent It Okra Mask Treatment and will be using it for the first time. I have never used any Curl Junkie products but definitely want to try this Treatment. 🤔 😊 😆 BTW: In this recent Sally's sale purchase, I also bought the genetic Paul Mitchell Leave-in (based on your past recommendation). Looking forward to using this in a wash and go combo. 😉

Haven’t tried the Curl Junkie or Olaplex yet. I have the Olaplex but haven’t used. I like the others mentioned as well. I know people don’t like it or don’t know how to use it correctly but Aphogee 2 step , the 2 minute and the texture treatment are staples for me. They help me maintain and my hair responds well. I also like the Camille Rose Nangai Tsubaki Restore protein treatment. It’s mild but in between the 2 step , it always gives me a good balancing boost.

FYI -- The Mo Knows Hair aside from the high fragrance is effective. Please be aware of recent product ingredient changes. The highlighted ingredients are not listed in the ingredient list: Quinoa protein & Mongongo oil. I have reached out to Sally's Beauty. They pointed me to Mo Knows Hair. I am awaiting clarification. I also questioned the statement on the label: "Hydrates with Medium Hold" which appears to be an error from another product in the line. Makes you wonder what is actually in the jar. I have not tried the "new" as I am awaiting a response.
