In this video I will be showing you a few set ups and methods I use to catch tons of Spring Crappie. I had a great time and caught fish on almost every cast! #crappie #fishing #kentucky

Two of my favorite ways to fish, jig & bobber and jig spinner. It never gets old watching that bobber go under or feeling that tug when they hit the spinner. Great video, thank you!!!

Thank you for watching! Yes, those are the best ways I have seen yet to catch crappie. Atleast for around my part of Kentucky it is! Love watching that bobber go down! Catching them on the Jig Spinner is great too, some of those Crappie hit it harder than Bass do!

hey man, nice video. if you could, use a camera zoom in a bit to the area where you drop the bobber and film the fish take down the bobber, that definitively add to the excitement to your vids. it is just my 2cents. good luck.

Those Beetle Spins Have Always Been Productive, They're really good For Creek Bass With Curly Tail grubs , jig n bobber probably the most effective method outside of Long poleing for crappie , I wish I had a nickel for every crappie that's been caught under a bobber,, id buy a lake and a new boat , probably a new rod and reel and some new bobbers as well lol ,,

They are great lures! Can’t beat a jig and bobber or jig spinner! Thanks for watching!

Awesome video bro! We've got to put a boat on that lake. It's it a lake or creek. Anyways you ready to do some collaboration bro? 😅😅😅
@geoffbohartfishingАй бұрын
It’s a private lake behind a buddy’s neighborhood. But yessir! Sure am ready I want to get on some big Bluegill or some big Hybrid or Stripers.

@geoffbohartfishing in die time my friend. Just gotta wait for the water to be right. Crappies and bluegills should be popping off here soon.

Man how you catch so many fish, every time I go fish is like the fish don’t eat lol

I appreciate you watching! Honestly, I’m just very persistent and try to keep up with fish behavior during the seasons. I’ve noticed a lot of crappie and bream staged up right off the bank where it starts to get deep around brush and downed trees so I just try to throw there and jig it a few times to try to get a reaction. They really like those monkey milk Bobby Garlands but I’d say any brand 2 inch or so shad in monkey milk color would get the job done this time of year! “Underspin” style jigs work very well when the bite is slow. Best of luck to you!

@@geoffbohartfishing Do you have to try a lot of spot before you hit the good hole? Because I tent to do that when I don’t get a lot of bite idk if I’m doing it wrong haha I’m new to fishing and still trying to learn but idk a lot of people to help me learn
@geoffbohartfishingАй бұрын
@@CloudFT Yes! Usually when targeting a new body of water I will just start on one side or the other around brush and play with my depth and just kind of work the edge along the body of water as best as possible. I cast closer and further away and try to give each spot plenty of times. But most of the time if you know crappie are in the water you’re fishing you need to just switch up your bait color and/or bait presentation.

That's not an inline spinner. That's a beetle spin. Nice catches tho...👍🏾
@geoffbohartfishingАй бұрын
Thanks! I had heard them called inline spinners from an old friend a while back but I found out after making this video that they’re actually called “Jig Spinners” I appreciate you watching!
