One thing to add since this was trade-site heavy: if you prepend a ~ to your search for mods in the trade site it does a "fuzzy" search on what you type, so for example "~chaos over time" would show you #% to Chaos Damage Over Time Multiplier. This makes filling in your filter lines much, much faster in my experience!

One tip for everyone that's going to min-max more: I try to add every stat that increases my damage and use the weighting option And for every stat I use I create a jewel in PoB with this stat at only +1 or +1% etc. So for example I play cold dot, I would create a Jewel with +1% area damage and look up how much % this would increase my combined final dps Lets say it is 0.5% dps increase, I then would give this jewel a weight of 0.5 If you do so you can sort by this weigting and sometines find jewels with only 3 damage stats that gives you more damage for less price then a 4 stat damage jewel This is a bit of work but I like it alot :D

Good video, but a few notes. When searching for cluster jewels, both the type and number of passives on the jewel are enchants, and will appear in that section. Also, when searching for any stat, you can use tilde ~ to get an approximate match. In your case I'd search ~chaos to get all the stats related to chaos to appear in the search. I find this one to be pretty useful since I can never remember the exact wording on the stats that I want.

Chances are you know what you want to search for but don't know the exact sentence for it, adding a ~ in the search filter helps with the keyword. For example you're looking for watchers eye with anger mod, u can just search "~affected by anger" or if ure looking for fractured base "~attack speed fractured". It'll match the keyword n you'll probably just need to choose from a short list instead of typing out your search in the exact sentence.

just did this.. found 2 great jewels for my build for about 10c each, and managed to respec a lot of the tree thanks to those jewels, so I can fit all the points into a large cluster jewel for my toxic rain.

surprised he didnt show the pob search function. It literality gives you the perfect jewels for your build, not just jewels but any item like on my LA deadeye i found a quiver that gave ~40% more dps with life and res for 10c in about 2minutes, when finding an equilivant quiver could have taken 10+mins and ended up spending a lot more. The jewel search is really good when it comes to normal vs abyssal jewels, as it adds in both mod pools and weights them so you dont need to know what type is better, it does it for you It can be a bit fucky sometimes with adding weighting to stuff like armor% but you can go and remove the irrelevant mods from the search but i guess when he only plays ssf, why would he know the pob trade feature exists

Running lockpick heist IS the best way to get jewels , you get fractured + synthesized pretty frequently , fractured cobalt % life is like 8 divine and %life rolls alot there

@@Junotekh god no, you want like any ranger ascendancy to move fast. build doesnt even matter, the build is movement speed. Heist is literality "how fast can i run from point A to B". As for casual heisting, especially in a ssf scenario where you probably want to passively kill mobs for gem xp/character xp and other random drops, stuff like rf or cold dot are decent and those builds are strong outside of heist too. But for trade league id only play move speed build if spamming heist.

How do you search for only t1 mods?

Next to the stat you can set "Min" and "Max". If you fill the Min case with the minimum roll of your T1 mod, you'll only get T1 mods, as other tiers of the same mod won't reach the minimum value you just set. Exemple : Tier 1 life on body armor rolls from 120 to 129. Select +# to maximum life and type 120 in the Min case to only get tier 1 max life mods. Remember to check if your target item can roll T1 mods : boots can only roll 80 to 89 life, ring can only reach 70 to 79 etc...

I prefer builds without jewels. Jewels are terrible. I never get the stats that I need.

every build uses jewels? like 99% of builds want atleast 1 cluster jewel setup, and a legion jewel, and a watchers eye. Thats 6 jewels minimum (3 clusters, 1 watchers eye, 1 for the second med cluster, 1 legion) for every build in the game. And every build picks up all 2 point jewels as they are more point efficient than normal nodes on the tree. So 7-8 jewels is pretty standard for a build. Go to PoE ninja and look at any random build at the top levels, all of them have 6+ jewels without fail. There is no such thing as a build without jewels, thats just playing a weaker version of a build. Like playing with a maximum of a 4 link and saying "i prefer builds without 6L, 6L are terrible, I can never link more than 4 sockets".

It's too random of a thing to target farm, since every jewel is basically a chaos spam and that's it. If you're going to do SSF playthroughs, then that usually means you have at least a Master's Degree in PoE and you know what you need to make shit work.

Imagine a game where you get a reasonable amount of crafting mats for your time, because thats what they are, not fucking currency to chuck on some gear, while you look for better gear, I think they used to call those games ARPG's

@@Neriehem While I agree that SSF is hard, Jewels are not particularly complicated. Heist often generates jewels with only a guaranteed life mod which you can then augment and regal. And if I need a new jewel quickly, I usually spam Harvest Reforge Life or I go with two fossils (pristine + whatever creates relevant damage mods for my build). Sure, you won't get a 4-stat one. But it is really easy to bank a bunch of jewels with Maximum Life and one relevant damage stat. And if you try often enough, you will eventually hit life and 2 damage stats. Abyss Jewels are also extremely powerful with the Atlas tree. Getting 5 or 6 mods gives you so many chances to hit what you actually need that you will find something good sooner or later. If Jewels are what's holding you back from SSF, don't let them discourage you. They are not as bad as you may think.

ok here's your strat to farm jewels abyss jewels: allocate nodes on tree and farm abysses normal jewels: spam heist for fractured mods on jewel, chaos spam jewel until good mods alternative: throw all your vaal orbs at your t16 maps and get vaal temples budget: pickup jewel off ground and spam chaos orbs on it video over thanks for watching Unless you are SSF, you don't farm for specific items in a trade league. You farm to have fun, doing content you enjoy, and that gives you the currency to buy what you want. The best part about PoE is that almost every farming method within the same investment brackets is equally profitable, so you focus on what you enjoy, nothing else. If you enjoy farming jewels then go crazy because you technically can do that. It would fucking suck if you were forced to farm specific content to get items. If the best way to get jewels was to farm them, not trade, then everyone would farm them because they would need to be super expensive for it to be more efficient to farm them rather than trade. But in that case, the jewels drop in price because everyone is farming, the economy balances out which is why everything is equally profitable. This is the result of an unrestricted trade system. If we had bound items like other MMOs or aRPGs do then yeah you'd be forced to farm in specific areas, and that sucks. I wanna farm what I want to, and I want to make meaningful progression in my character nomatter where I farm. Honestly kinda sick of every multiplayer game having some extreme tax on item trading, or bound items after trade, or some items being untradable, just some bullshit gating that is usually setup as intentional friction to make players spend real money to bypass them.
