I agree, Henry. We can all feel a little drab or unmotivated from time to time. That's life, isn't it? Don't be hard on yourself. You bounce back quite nicely. Boy, I sure loved this outing. What a beautiful part of the park this is. So tranquil, so glorious. I quite enjoyed it. I love these more subtle images, an amazing sunset/sunrise is great but it’s a really good photographer that can take images like these at other times of the day. Totally get the whole people thing, being constantly ‘on’ can be tiring.

Excellent scrambled Henry, i’ve never been up that way. I agree with you about summer, a lot of people struggle with it but I think in the Lake District in the evening the greens become a zingy golden yellow and are as good as autumn. The problem really is the difficulty in getting up early enough or staying up late, Especially when you have a small child ☹️

Some good lessons here and the image containing the sheepfold blew my socks off! Would love to get back into the Lake District Fells but at 67 and with arthritic knees I have to face reality - probably not going to happen unless it's low level valley walks. :-(
