Is it possible to memorise 4 essays in one day
@jeddleАй бұрын
Yes, but only in parts. If I had to do that, I would do the following: 1) Make the essays SHORT and concise (less to remember); 2) Don't try to memorise every word of every essay. I would prioritise Introductions and Topic Sentences (for your structure and sophisticated), and then I would just memorise the quotes, techniques and a key word for the 'effect'/explanation of each example); 3) Learn these parts like a speech (so say each part out loud rather than writing it out each time, to save time), and 4) Do this process 1 by 1. Don't move onto the next essay until you can write out the key elements above without looking.

how long do you reckon each essay should be?
@jeddleАй бұрын
Each DRAFT essay should take you 32-34 minutes. This is so you have time to read the question and ADAPT on the day. I can't provide a word count as everyone writes at different speeds. Write out an essay ASAP (don't worry about memorising, just read off the page) and see how long it takes you to write the amount of words in the draft. Then work out how much you need to cut it down to get it under 34 minutes. For example, if my draft essay was 800 words and it took me 40 minutes to handwrite as fast as I can, that means I write 20 words per minute, so 34 minutes = 680 words. So all of my drafts essays should then be cut down to approximately 680 words. You won't want to do this (e.g. 'because everything is important') but it's the only way to ensure you don't run out of time on the day! It doesn't matter how good an essay is if you can't actually write it out on the day in response to the given question.

Trials are on different dates for everybody, some last term, some this term; it's the schools decision

Most schools are starting next week, but looks like you did yours early. You can still use this to prepare for your final exams :)
