I've always used regular dragonbane arrows for rune dragons. got tons of resonant anima of Jas which I can use to craft the Jas dragonbane ones

While grinding elite dungeon trilogy runs i also kill minibosses during the run to get more DG tokens and buy metallic dragon trinkets as a helpful item for the chance to instakill them.

As someone going for the kethsi outfit, the necro update has been a godsend. it makes using jas dragobane arrows worth the cost. also, a deep dive into getting the kethsi outfit would be cool!

I remember when Dragonbane Arrows were borderline useless (only ever made for the xp) because 90% of high tier bows made their own ammo and couldn't even use the arrows even if they wanted to. Now they're basically the meta and that's awesome.

@@omegahaxors3306 Nope, and Im not sure why you would even make that many dragonbane arrows, since theyre untradable. It would have been an unwise decision for the Xp bc there are much cheaper options, and it wouldnt have been for personal use because they are vastly inferior to T90 arrows. Even if you made them pre-Arraxor, theres no reason to make millions, the vast amount of hours it would take to make that many versus how many you use is just illogical. Plus even pre Arraxor, all the best PvE ranged was Cbows, so you should have made bolts and not arrows. Simply the cost to make that much arrows, could have been enough to put up the Gp to upgrade to the meta Cbows at the time.

You can also successfully afk rune dragons with dragonbane bolts, scenic, and a blood necklace if you pay attention while three are on you, which won't happen very often off task :D

​@TheRealXyvar I tried dragonbane bolts first, and the increased speed of killingthem with the jas dragonbane arrows makes up for the larger cost. Faster kills = more kills = more money.

Just last week I tested Jas arrows against regular dragonbane arrows, and I only managed 1 extra kill per ovl dose while using around 7 arrows per kill. I also wasn't using a cannon to fully afk, but rather using full revo and clicking on each dragon the instant one died.

You're def doing your rotations wrong, I was also using the tier 60 ones for so long being like pffft why would i ever use Jas arrows? Then i got a task of 50 rune dragons and decided to buy like 300 jas arrows and do a task with them just to see the difference. The difference is night and day you're hitting inherently 35 tiers of damage above and also making use of good weapons like Sgb or bolg without doing tier 60 damage and making full use of tier 92-95 bows. Tier 60 d bane is 100% useless now like legit don't try to convince yourself oh im saving money ill use these nope that's so wrong you're killing them so much faster with jas your profit is so good it doesn't matter

So I tried the same setup at addy dragons. I got 480 kills per hour (14.4m bones) / ~1.5m in alchs Used 1346 arrows (6M). It works but its a little expensive for what you get. I would personally rock magic with magic tank armour + animate dead for less kills but also less cost at addy dragons.

I will say, frost dragons are currently slightly faster money as far as I can tell, however it doesn't beat rune dragons by much.

I’m still wondering how I profited 2M for an hour of this yet he’s saying 20m/hr? I was about to kill 80 in an hour. My highest bow is t70 but have elder overload salves. Used pence powder and vamp aura. I’m not sure I’m getting how he’s making 18M more here with roughly the same inventory and equipment besides the weapon

I hope necro fixes some of the gap between revultion and full manual. Understanding RS combat is a nightmare and doing full manual on top is just not fun at all.

more effort = higher dps Jagex was actually gonna launch necro with no revolution option just to force players to learn manual but the only difference is that you'll automatically do a auto attack that's similar to Slice/Wrack/piercing shot when you don't manually input a necro ability

@@artofwargu os doesn't have 5x the player base and the combat is fun and satisfying. If you don't like it you don't have to play it. But to say that revolution and manual should be equal dps is frankly idiotic. Manual is more effort and that effort should be rewarded. Furthermore, there is no content in the game that can't be completed on revolution anyway so it's not like manual being stronger is making it hard for you.

If you're planning to use magic you'd be better off killing addy dragons. Rune dragons take a lot of reduced damage in the first part of their (armoured) fight and need to be hit with dragonbane ammo.

PSA to everyone your tier 60 dragonbane arrows are no where near the level of the tier 95 Jas dragonbane arrows, there's no comparison whatsoever. Don't cheap out on arrows don't use the tier 60 ones you're literally losing out on 35 tiers of damage

Yeah you could cut costs by using something like anima core. The EOF helps when you are (not) on task though.

Sirenic is the cheapest augmentable Ranged armour set per slot including the Fleeting boots and last a very long time. And I wouldn't think you'd buy an EoF just for this so the Ammy of Souls like he said would work. Gotta spend gp to make gp.

These bones went from 110k to 92k today. It’s fucked. Still great money. I’d say about 13-15m an hour. Also frost dragon bones dropped 10k today. Idk if it’s just the hard hit from necromancy and it’ll level out but it’s still not good. I had my cousin grind out 85 dg so he can make money using frost dragons and now the money is roughly 30% less an hour. I hope it bounces back.
