6:03 - 6:12 Jeez Christ, the reverb on those vocalized grains makes it sound like it's taken straight from a song. That "brown" goes almost like the TTW osc is singing it (which it does in a sense that you're changing the notes, but the transition in pitch is so seamless) Dash you're incredible.

Damn, that bit where you changed the LFO1 from a ramp to steps at the 10 minute mark to create that psy vocal sequence was worth adding an admission fee to this video!

I remember in the 2010-2015 days many had a little watermark on their Dubstep tracks uploaded to Soundcloud, I'm surprised I don't actually remember any of them really integrating it into the track the way you'd expect from bass music producers. Some of them even just used the FL text-to-speech with no effects, gets the job done and conveys clearly that it's merely a watermark, but it's a missed opportunity. It kinda reminds me of how rappers would have certain distinct ways of introducting themselves and others on the track, it seems pretty smart for recognizability if you can include it naturally.

It'd be fun to also like isolate (or filter) the S - T and K start of words and then sequence rhythms with the macros.

This is an epic tip! I’m definitely going to try it out during my next studio session. Had some problems with the Text-to-Wavetable yesterday though. The “en-gb” didn’t work at all.

Excellent as always. Quick question, why are Vitals Text to Wavetable oscillators sounding mono? (only left side and PAN is centered)
@DashGlitch2 жыл бұрын
Because oscillators are generally mono, you can use the stereo parameter or an lfo with stereo to get stereo
