My software engineering manager feels this exact way, feeling like she has to constantly prove herself, despite being easily 3x better at my job than I am. It’s crazy and it’s a complete bs that she has to do this to begin with…

Thank you! Figured I needed to let my natural color out so I can see it before it turns grey 😂

Hi Jennifer ! I've always preferred working with female supervisors who have tended to be more fair & forthright than male supervisors who have tended to be more judgemental & preferential & not talked honestly about the company but just glowingly about it. Bring on the BB !

My best bosses have been tapped into their feminine energy too! It's collaborative, not combative.

The best bit is if people's ability or lack there of the see through the act would make a good toxicity detector. Also in a world where having any amount of emotional intelligence is a significant competitive advantage and you get seen as a "Bad bitch" for having integrity most of the business must have a bad case of injelititus.

Hey, it's been a while! How have you been?
@alwynwatson6119Ай бұрын
@@JenniferBrick Yes it has. I have been good. Rather than go for a degree apprenticeship I went to university. While studying engineering I have been working on rescherch and development into wast heat recovary and cryogenic systems.

This doesn't work very well at all when you're in human services where most of us are female. You will not be liked very well for not doing your part. We are already overworked as it is.

Gender is a social construct. Energy is not.
@julijakeitАй бұрын
@@JenniferBrick Gender is a biological construct, not 'social' - others do not decide what gender/sex we are born, our chromosomes do. And definitely women are treated differently in a masculine sphere and we can make our femininity work for us.
@JenniferBrickАй бұрын
@@julijakeit sex is a biological construct, gender is a socially construct. That's why you see the sociological gender expression has evolved over the centuries; like how high heels and tights original invented for and sported by men, but socially these are now deemed for women in Western culture. We also see different constructs from culture to culture - a great example most people know of is kilts. While there is no choice or alteration for biological sex, there is an enormous amount of choice in gender constructs and gender expression.

Energy is the capacity to do work. That makes it the perfect metaphor for emotional motivation. Energy can be stored in many forms. If this is anything to go on then 2:44 nightmair fuel is a good sustainable energy carrier but don't get overly relient on terifiing your boss for motivation.
