Used this for years, I keep it in my wallet. It's sort of sub optimal for most things, but it has saved me in more situations than I can count. My one problem is that the markings for numbers and such fade after a long time. I wish they were etched in some way.

I’ve been carrying this multi tool for years. I find it very useful. Great review.

I'm not such a fan of the card tools, but I might well give this a go. A great video though, I really appreciate the demonstration of the various functions.

@@NetvoTV They probably have not seen people demonstrate how useful these tools actually are when in the right hands, so people usually assume it's mostly useless and gimmicky, for show only? A lot of people underestimate the usefulness of these card tools. I always keep them when a company includes one in package of another item I got from them. A lot of useful tools in a small, thin package. Good for using as an expendable tool when you might not want to put more wear and tear on a more expensive tool. 🤷♂️ Obviously they have limitations compared to full sized tools but multitools are meant for small tasks, not huge tasks, and they're always on you, unlike full sized tools. They're good to have at all times. Better than nothing.

Good video, thanks :) I've had one of these since November 2019; it's one failing is, like most money clips, that it really can't handle holding plastic cards: They tend to slip all over the place. Aside from that limitation, it's an excellent bit of kit. I keep the protector around it, as even with the mitigation factors they included for the sharp parts, it will still create hols in your pockets: The protective cover it comes with is sufficient to add enough protection that your pockets don't become open-ended tubes ;) Also, for any UK viewers, this IS safe to carry, as it does NOT have a knife blade, so you CAN carry a UK-Safe multitool in your pocket ;)

I had the same issue with that clip. How I got around it was glueing a small strip of rubber from bicycle inner tube (I used sandpaper to make the rubber part less slippery before i glued it in. I also scratched both surfaces before gluing them together and used some strong glue). That’s very fortunate that here the clip is detachable. This workaround stops working when you have cash on top of the cards though, so i either fold it so that it’s in the top part, or put it under the cards carefully.

My favorite multi tool is by far the Victorinox Swiss card lite. So many actually useful tools in one
@Lindirion Жыл бұрын
I use to have both : Victorinox Swiss card classic and Levergear tool card. They do not have the same functions and complement each other well. The Toolcard is thiner in the wallet.
@Northanteus11 ай бұрын
The tool in this video above can do what the Swiss card cannot do, and vice versa, so it'd be wise to carry both, not just one or the other. 😉

When I worked I almost always carried a Leatherman Charge or Supertool, plus a Benchmade 940. Now, I typically carry the knife and a SAK Tinker. 90% of the time I use it for the scissors and the drivers.

This looks like a great set of features, but I personally don't like to form function of the card. I'd rather just carry a multi tool with a handle for usability. As slim as it is, a lot depends on the wallet you carry. My main wallet is Bellroy Card Sleeve or the Aurochs Nova and I'd be hard pressed to fit this in either without taking something out, or stretching the wallets further. I could definitely see myself carrying this in a band wallet when I don't want to carry around a separate multi tool.

I don't like it but I don't know why. It just doesn't give me the fizzys. I carry a Gerber Dime multi tool with a little kydex holder. It works perfectly for what I need.

What about a card with just screwdrivers on
@phlemdog2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't do this one. The clip being the only holding function makes me worried about wear on the cards. I have a nite ize financial tool with the money clip, and that works perfectly. As far as knife/ multitool, I have a victorinox manager on my key chain, and that does what I need.

Saddly, you don't show how to remove the clip. Maybe he knows why.
@walletopia Жыл бұрын
It’s the reverse of putting it on. Seriously. It takes both thumbs to compress down on the inside edges which then releases the clip. First times a bit fumbly but you get used to it.
