I personally love the way they explained the way heros shrink in the MCU. The explanation is they reduce the distance between the atoms so they don’t take anything away meaning they don’t lose their mass. So simply put they get more dense. This means they pack a bigger punch as the hero has all of their original mass put into a smaller area making it seem stronger.

It's about density all of the atoms in her body are compressed into a tiny space she's so strong because her atomic density increased a hundred fold much like how a black hole is created by the mass of a star being compressed into a tiny space

That's not a good compersen. I have the theory, that she should be as strong as before shrinking, bacause her musles should be as strong as before regardless of the density. Also the lever effect doesn't make a differenc. It's still the same propotions. Ants are only so strong because of the relation between the different groths of leangth, serfese area and volium.

If a foam bat and a wooden bat are both swung at the same speed, the wooden bat hurts more because it has a higher density. The same rules still apply here. Most characters with shrinking powers are explained to have higher molecular density, and therefore become harder objects. The only part about it that doesn't line up with actual physics, is that condensing a person down to that size would create a very short lived black hole, killing the person who shrank.

i feel like most shrinking powers are actualy a mass manipulation power where they could mess with things a whole lot more if they actualy messed with it (a pin that weighs as much as a car for example but is still the same size but can still be moved with wind). Makes the most sense in my mind

this one's easy. an object with a mass many times it's size would pack a massive punch. like giving a bullet the mass of a human being. that would make the bullet super heavy. now imagine giving that bullet the mass of an elephant. super damage. ecentially shrinking a human down in marvel comics doesn't effect the actual mass of that person, making them the equivalent of a bullet with the weight of a human being. now, how that much weight on something so small wouldn't cause extreme stress to joints and shatter bones is beyond me.

3:03 well first of all you're under the assumption that her mass is shrinking along with her size when that's probably not the case so if we can assume that it her shrinking ability is like Hank pims pim particle that shrinks the distance between atoms that means that they retain their Mass even in shrunken form so the tank that Hank was carrying around on his keychain would have weighed the same amount as a regular tank does same case can be applied to thumbelina the space between her Atoms has shrunken so she still retains the same mass so let's say thumbelina weighs 130 140 lbs at 1/4 of an inch tall she would still weigh 130 140 lb and getting hit with something in the face that weighs 130 to 140 lbs regardless of its size is probably going to knock you out your entire argument that she can't knock someone out is completely flawed if you got hit by a rock that weighed 130 lbs but was only 1/4 of an inch around it would probably break you're jaw at the least if it didn't rip it off

3:17-3:28 Actually, if ants were the size of a person, they can't even survive, at least not with their current physiology. There is the Square/Cube law to take into account. Granted, I'm no entomologist or biophysicist, but I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that the stress on their exoskeleton would make them immobile and difficult (if not impossible) to breathe.

I know this is a compilation of older videos; but super speed doesn't exist it's actually super acceleration l. For example if a person has super speed that means all their cells, molecules, etc are moving at the same rate at the same time constantly that means if they where stuck going 100mps they would be stuck that way if they touched you like poking that millions if not trillions of molecules vibrating at a constant speed of 100 to your speed of 0 that poke would feel like a 50 Calibur bullet being shot with a Canon into your body ripping you apart and possibly cauterizing the wound partly caus of friction also the even if they where near you it could burn you do to high energy electrons caused heat gradually might even cause plasma to form

Thumbilina powers makes sense. As we all know, the more we cram mass into a tiny space, the stronger its gravity becomes. Hence why Blackholes are a nightmare fuel. Or, when compressing air into a small area, its pressure increases. So imagine doing the same to a human. The strength would be increased the smaller she becomes. What's even worse is that since she's small, her punches would be far more deadly. The smaller the surface area, the less force it'll need to punch a hole through it.

Hay Top 10 Nerd Elite, I just thought I'd help you out with the Thumbelina thing and how shrinking can make you stronger, it has to deal with some inertia, you see when shrinking most of the inertia that you had before shrinking has to go somewhere and it is most likely transferred into usable or stored energy or stored force that would be waiting to be let out so in my theory is that she is using that original inertia as a weapon and pushing outwards with force and stored kinetic energy to make the initial impact stronger
